"Troy Boy" Troy Knight and Flash w/The Bobster and Kelly
Day
versus
"The Player" Ace Spade and "Desperado" Sean West w/Doris and
Ms.Frost
Tag Team Match
Referee: Grant August
[Troy Knight would enter after Flash, with 'The Bobster' following
behind him. Their opponents would already be in the ring waiting for
them. Ace Spade, Sean West in the ring in their corner, Doris and Ms
Frost waiting ring side for the match to begin, clapping their hands
and cheering on their men.]
Sully: Here he is! Here comes the man of the
flower! "Troy Boy", Troy Knight with the Bobster!
JP: He'll be teaming up with Flash today in
Tag Team action to take on "The Player" Ace Spade and "Desperado"
Sean West!
Sully: They can have all the nick names they
want! Troy Knight is gonna show 'em what real men are made of! But I
have to say, West and Spade have got something great backing them in
their corner!
JP: Well, there's no doubting the popularity
of not only Troy Knight but also Flash! And you have to wonder that
if West and Ace Spade get on top in this match, could the audience
get behind them enough to will them back? Let's not forget the power
in the team that they are facing here tonight! Ace Spade with his
'Royal Flush'! And West with his stunning 'Desperate
Measures'!
[The Backstreet Boys music would eventually die down as Troy
Knight climbs into the ring, 'The Bobster' waiting outside of it for
him, unable to see over the ring apron successfully.]
JP: Hahah!
Sully: He can barely see over the ring
apron!
JP: Someone get him a phone book to stand
on!
Sully: Get him three!
[Troy Knight steps out of the ring and Flash replaces him, dancing
about a bit on the spot in preparation for the action, as in the
opposite corner, Ace Spade gets ready to fight. The fans are chanting
Flash's name as the bell rings and the referee starts thing off. The
two men would begin to circle each other, a chant among the fans
starting up: 'Ace Spade sucks', or something of the like. After a
little while, it would get to him and he'd turn around, leaning on
the ropes and crying out to the fans with anger. It would only get
the fans more against him however, and he would turn back, right in
time to lock up with Flash.]
JP: And they lock up! Flash has a lot on his
opponent right now. He's got six inches and over 30 pounds on him, to
be exact!
Sully: Not to mention that he has the fan
support!
[Flash would lean his weight onto his opponent, shoving him into
the corner, big hands locked around Ace Spade's shoulders, the fans
chanting the big man's name. Ace Spade would be bent around the
turnbuckle a bit before Flash raises his hand and thumps it onto the
chest of Ace Spade. Ace would cry out, slumping forwards as the hand
connects, making a horrible slapping sound. Arms over his chest, he'd
tumble forwards, wincing and gasping, Flash in hot pursuit.]
Sully: Oh man! Did you hear that? What an
impact!
JP: The height and weight difference really
paying off in these early stages!
[Flash would move after him, grabbing onto the smaller (but, by no
means: small) man's arm and whipping him at the ropes. Ace Spade
would come back off the ropes, ducking underneath the oncoming
clothesline; both men would come off either sets of ropes, meeting in
the middle, Ace Spade knocked down by the shoulder of the bigger
man.]
Sully: He just doesn't seem able to take the
big man down! He's gotta be hoping that his partner, Sean West will
have better luck, as he struggles for his corner!
[He would be doing just that, struggling towards the corner in an
attempt to make the tag out. Flash would follow, moving to grab onto
his opponent's foot to drag him away. Ace would turn onto his back,
making sure that the big man was blocking the referee's view of
things before reaching to jab him in the eyes viciously. Flash turns.
The fans boo. Ace Spade makes the tag. "Desperado" Sean West runs in
and clubs his arm against the back of Flash, who remains stunned by
the eye-poking. Sean West, who was slightly smaller than his partner,
had an equal amount of trouble in bringing down the big man, but
eventually manages to do so with several well-placed and well-timed
thumps to his back and neck.]
JP: I can't believe that they got away with
that! That was despicable!
[West would drag Flash to his feet, guiding him towards the
turnbuckle. West tags Ace Spade back in and they both go to work with
clubbing blows to the big man's head and neck area.]
JP: These two showing great team wits
together, isolating the big man to get to him.
[Ace Spade would grab Flash's arm and would twist it around, as
West goes to work, kicking the toe of his boot into the big man's
wrist before the ring ushers him out. The fans, at this point, would
be chanting 'Troy Knight' as the very man they call for leans over
the ropes, gesturing for Flash to make a tag. An impossible thing at
the moment, as Sean West works on the ribs of Flash, stomping on his
downed opponent. Flash would writhe about as Sean grabs onto the
ropes, leans down onto Flash's neck with his foot and squeezes on it.
The referee would eventually break up the hold after a few seconds,
Sean West raising his arms a bit as the fans boo and jeer him.]
Sully: Flash really needs to get to his
corner! He really does need to make that tag desperately!
[West would let Flash hobble to his feet and move for his corner,
struggling and holding his head. The fans would clap and chant
Flash's name as he struggles for his corner, but he is just dragged
back again, towards the middle of the ring by Sean West. But this is
not for long, as he manages to shake Sean off, kicking him back into
the turnbuckle roughly. West connects with it and falls forwards,
holding his back. The fans cheer and Flash struggles for his corner
to make the tag, as does West, who seemed to have taken a rather
nasty strike to his back when he hit that turnbuckle. Flash manages
to make the tag to a very eager-looking Troy Knight.]
JP: Here we go!
[Troy Knight climbs under the top rope, surging forwards and
viciously close-lining down Ace Spade who was tagged in. Troy would
turn around as Ace stands up and would whip him into the ropes,
leaning into the ropes behind him as he does so. They both run
forwards and Knight dives around to the side, pulling Ace Spade down
for a roll-up. The referee would slide in to make the count. 12The
count is broken up harshly by Sean West. Sean would pull Troy up,
moving to deliver some punches to Troy's head that are just blocked
by Knight. After a bit of blocking, Troy would send back some blows
of his own, slapping his hand to the skull of West before bouncing
off the ropes behind him and landing a big drop kick that sends West
tumbling out of the ring.]
JP: Troy Knight is cleaning house!
[As he turns around, he manages to duck an oncoming-clothesline
from Ace Spade, turns back to face him before stomping a boot into
the gut, turning, bouncing off the ropes before moving forwards and
delivering a neck breaker!]
JP: Oh man! What impact! Troy Knight isis
cleaning house, here!
[Troy celebrates, gyrating his hips a little bit, only to be
struck down from behind by Sean West who is now back in the ring
again, sliding under the bottom rope. The fans make a rather
astonished sound as Troy stumbles forwards, holding the back of his
neck, crying out a little bit. Sean would run Troy out of the ring,
throwing him over the top rope crudely.. He'd smile down to his
manager, Ms Frost, who smiles back at him, not seeing Flash up, and,
as West turns around, he gets a face full of boot from Flash! The
fans go wild!]
JP: He got 'im! Flash just nailed Sean
West!
Sully: He didn't have a chance! Flash came
out of no where
[Sean West claws at the referee's trouser leg as if blinded,
stumbling and struggling to keep his balance on his knee Flash would
move forwards across the ring for him but is caught on the back by a
chair that is swung hard at his back by Ace Spade from the outside of
the ring! It makes a horrific noise and Flash cries out, arching his
back and stumbling forwards, the referee not seeing it, distracted by
Sean West.]
JP: What a shot! What a cheap shot by Ace
Spade! Sean West He had the referee distracted while Spade slaps him
on the back with a chair!
[The fans rise up as Troy rushes over and tugs Spade off the ring
apron before nailing him with a kick to the gut, before jumping up
and landing a sort of scissor-kick to the bent-over opponent. They
both connect with the outside hard as the fight in the ring
continues. Sean West had taken advantage of the chair shot and made
to roll up Flash. The referee would separate them quickly and West
would look confused as to why.]
Sully: He's not the legal man, JP! Flash
isn't the legal man, he can't pin him!
JP: I don't think Sean West is the legal
man, either, Sully!
Sully: I think you're right!
[The referee directs Sean West back to his corner and he stamps
his feet and holds his head in frustration.]
Sully: So close! He had Flash down for the
count, but neither of them are the legal man for their side!
[The referee continues to usher West to his corner, the fans
chanting as Flash rolls underneath the bottom rope, Troy dragging Ace
Spade with him. He'd go for the cover, the referee finishing with
West, turning around and making the count.12- And Ace Spade manages
to get a shoulder up!]
JP: He almost had it. But it's going to take
more than that from the "Troy Boy" to keep his opponent down.
Sully: Almost! The fans were on the edge of
their seats!
[Troy Knight holds his head, standing up and pulling his opponent
up with him as he does so. He'd pick him up, scoop-slamming him onto
the mat near the turnbuckle, unoccupied by anybody's partner. He'd
move for the turnbuckle]
Sully: Oh man!
JP: You know what he's going for!
[West is quick to scout it, running along the apron and leaning
into the ropes, knocking Troy off his balance. Troy falls, legs split
apart by the turnbuckle. He'd cry out, looking in pain and in anguish
before moving unsteadily and slowly to climb off the turnbuckle. (By
this time, West has moved off the apron and is looking innocent as
the referee glares at him.) Of course, the advantage is being taken
by Ace. He hooks his arm around Troy's head as Knight does his best
to stand up. He'd run forwards, pulling Knight with him, delivering a
cutter! The two hit the canvas hard and the fans cry out.]
JP: Oh man! What a move!
Sully: I can't watch!
[Troy Knight seems out cold and Ace goes for the cover quickly,
hooking the leg.12He gets the shoulder up! Troy Knight gets the
shoulder up in the nick of time! Ace kneels up, holding his head in
disbelief before reaching down and pounding at the canvas with the
palms of his hands in frustration.]
JP: So close! He was so very close there to
having the match in the bag!
Sully: I can't believe that Troy Knight
managed to kick out of that one, JP! He really IS a winner!
[Troy would struggle back to his feet as Spade kicks at the ropes,
unaware that his opponent is moving to the refreshed-Flash, who leans
over the ropes waiting for the tag. He only realises that he is
getting the tag when it is too late. He makes after him but stops as
he runs right into Flash. The fans go nutso as Flash lands a huge
right hand to Ace Spade. West runs into the ring and is met by a huge
right hand by Flash that sends him down to the canvas. Ace is up
again and runs at Flash, straight into a tilt-o-whirl-slam! Ace rolls
out of the ring and Flash is up once again, waiting for the
stunned-West to turn around. As he does so, Flash meets and greets
him with a 'Lightning Bolt'! (Spinning Torture Rack pancakesorta.)
The fans go crazy as he waits for Ace to get back into the ring,
looking dazed, the fans building up with excitement as Ace holds onto
the ropes, Flash slapping his thigh, signifying the coming of the big
boot. He'd surge forwards like lightning, but Ace would see it
coming, ducking under, dragging the ropes with him, and getting Flash
stuck either side of the rope, in pain]
Sully: Oh no!
JP: That's not the first time that this tag
team have been hung up! Knight took it on the buckle! Flash on the
ropes!
Sully: You think it's a tactic?
JP: I wouldn't put it past them!
[Ace would stand up a bit, not seeing Troy get into the ring. He
would turn around just in time to take a butt-bump to the upper body,
sending him hard into the canvas, leaving him stunned. Troy would get
out of the ring quickly, delivering the beat down on West who had
previously stumbled out there. It was now left to the two legal men,
Ace and Flash, who both struggle to get their wits about them. Flash
eventually slips off the ropes and stands in the ring, looking a
little uncomfortable, stumbling towards his opponent, wincing with
every step. He'd go to pick him up, but is caught off guard by Ace,
who puts him in a roll-up position. The referee makes the count.
12Flash manages to pull himself out!]
JP: How close! How close was that?!
Sully: This is so exciting!
[They both stand, Flash shaking his head a bit and moving forwards
quickly, slamming his opponent down with a devastating clothesline!]
JP: He must have it! He must do!
[By this point, Troy and West moving up the ramp, exchanging
blows.]
JP: They're outta there! This match is a
singles match now!
[Flash lays a hand on the ropes, standing by the turnbuckle as he
wills his opponent up, stamping his foot onto the canvas, the fans
chanting his name as he readies himself for the move, looking most
tired Eventually, Ace would stand, right in time to be kicked in the
face by a huge big boot!]
Sully: He got 'im!
[Flash would move down for the cover. 123!!]
Peter Santos: And your winners, through pinfall, Troy Knight
and Flash!
JP: They've done it! They won! It wasn't
easy, and only two men in the match were left in the ring at the end,
but they have won!
Sully: "What. A. Match."
JP: It defined the term great tag team
wrestling, there wasn't a fan in the building who wouldn't pay to see
that all over again.
Sully: Was great wrestling, but in the end
Ace Spade was screwed.
JP: He got what he deserved, poisoning the
Knight family, disgraceful!
Sully: It was simply an act in this war
between Spade and the Knight household.
JP: Troy Knight will take his revenge and he
will wreak vengeance on Ace Spade, he's a brave man and he has many a
battle left in him yet...he's won a big match tonight.
Sully: Not long until Implosion now and I
think we shall be seeing Ace Spade and Troy Knight in singles
action.
JP: Troy Knight could well be in the match
for the MWF Television Championship.
Sully: He could well be, but I doubt it, he
doesn't have the staying power as a champion, he is simply here as a
plaything for the fans.
JP: He has the looks, the talent and the
skills to become the MWF Television Champion and possibly
more...
Sully: I don't know what planet you come
from...
["Heart's Filthy Lesson" by David Bowie hits the P.A. after the
commercial break as, the lights dimming and taking a green tint to
them.]
JP: What the-?
Sully: Who's this, JP?
JP: I have no idea! It's not anybody's
entrance that I've seen before! ((Not true. Tempest's was very
similar.))
Sully: I wonder who-
[Eventually, somebody would step out from behind the curtain,
making his way down the ramp with a big ol' smile on his face. Moving
down the ramp and making his way around the ring to step up the steel
steps, it would become apparent that he was here to speak, holding a
microphone in one hand, a clipboard of sorts in the other.]
JP: It's him! It's the new General Manager
of the MWF to take over from Fozz!
Sully: It's Dom Stoate!
[Moving along the curtain for a little bit before turning and
stepping beneath the top rope and over the second one, he'd move
towards the centre of the ring, arms raised a little bit as he
reaches it, getting a pretty decent reception from them, mainly due
to his title, despite the fact that he has some might big shoes to
fill, following Fozz and all. He'd raise the microphone after letting
this all soak in]
GM Stoate: Thank you! Thank you!
[There is a little pause before he continues, raising the
microphone up after the brief pause to observe the fan base that he
would be aiming to please as the General Manager of their
Federation.]
GM Stoate: How is everybody in Green Bay,
Wisconsin?
[This gets a big lot of cheers out of the fans as he smiles,
lowering the microphone and biting on his upper lip a little bit,
looking about the ring and the arena]
JP: Well, there's a good start!
[Stoate continues.]
GM Stoate: What a beautiful evening! Isn't
it? It couldn't be better, really The air is warm, the wrestling is
good and well, the MWF is in the right place for a great show. We've
still got possibly the best two matches to come, not sure how they
will top the last contest we just witnessed...that Troy Knight, he
sure is something.
[The fans give a huge roar at the mention of Troy Knight, Dom
Stoate smiles and looks around at them.]
GM Stoate: I'd like to say a few words,
which Mr.Knight may do well to listen to, at Implosion myself and the
MWF President have come to the conclusion that the MWF Television
Championship will be on the line and...
[Stoate is forced to trail off as the crowd are busy cheering at
the announcement of the reintroduction of the MWF Television
Championship.]
GM Stoate: AND! There will be four men in
the ring competing for the honour of becoming champion. These four
men will be announced next week on Monday Night Dynamite, until then
you will just have to watch and predict.
[Suddenly "Last Man Standing" by Biohazard explodes from the PA
system and Sean Harley strides out onto the entrance way, he gets
pretty big heat from the crowd but he ignores it and walks down the
entrance way, a mike in his hand.]
Sully: Finally someone to shut this whiter
than white General Manager up and I can't think of a better man for
the job.
JP: How rude! Stoate was simply introducing
himself and he's had it ruined by Sean Harley.
Sully: Wrestling has never been a place for
manners JP, Sean Harley obviously doesn't like something that the
General Manager has said.
["Phoenix" slides into the ring and walks straight up to the MWF
General Manager, the fans roar as Dom Stoate stands his ground and
Sean Harley backs off slightly.]
Harley: Wait a second, you said the MWF
Television Championship was on the line at Implosion...
Stoate: Yes, yes I did.
Harley: Then why the hell didn't you have
Sean Harley's name straight after the damn belt.
Stoate: Because I...
Harley: Save your pretty speeches, they
always end up drivel. Now listen to me Mr.Ferret, I don't give a damn
if you are the new MWF General Manager. Between you and me, I think
you already know who the true MWF Television Champion is...
Stoate: Indeed I do, and it isn't
you.
[Harley's face is a picture of shock as the crowd laugh at the
"Phoenix".]
Harley: Back up...what did you just
say?
Stoate: I replied to your question.
Harley: Yeah all well and good, but just
listen, I will be at Implosion in that fatal four way and there is
nothing you or the President can do about it.
Stoate: We'd love to see you at Implosion,
the seats are only twenty five dollars.
Harley: A seat!? A seat!? You think that the
talent you see before you will be sitting Implosion out?
Stoate: The way I see it is...the MWF is a
place for true stars to be born and you, Sean Harley are a
nothing...zero.
Harley: Son of a...
[Sean Harley sends a loud sound around the arena as he slams the
mike into the head of Dom Stoate and sends the MWF General Manager to
the canvas. Sean Harley laughs and gives Stoate a kick while he is
grounded before taunting the fans and turning away.]
Sully: That put Mr.Weasel in his place, he
just copped it from Sean Harley!
JP: That was great television but Sean
Harley is going to pay for that...
Sully: Yeah right, Mr.Stoate can't hurt a
man like Sean Harley.
JP: You seem to think Sean Harley is some
sort of superman!
Sully: He's not far off.
JP: Tell you who could well be
superman...
Sully: Who?
JP: Insane Wayne.
Sully: Not that hunk of meat, he's a load of
crap smeared across a few bones.
JP: He's a legend Sully, a real life
legend.
Sully: Oh whoopty-fucking-do, pass me the
newspaper because I don't give a damn if he's the Queen of England
because I have better things to watch.
JP: You not watching Simon Masters?
Sully: Might have to, he's a giant, a beast
amongst men, if anyone can rip apart Insane Wayne then it is
him.
JP: Insane Wayne needs the debut win and
Simon Masters stands in the way of that.
Sully: He's a rather large blockade and he
has the MWF World Champion at ringside which can only be a good
thing.
