Odin
versus
"The Dark Conscience" Apache
versus
"The Deadly One" Doomsday
MWF Television Championship Triple Threat Match
Referee: Charles Galliant
Writer: Jason Williams
[Dynamite comes back live on air and the eight thousand Houston,
Texas crowd is filled to the rafters all packed in waiting for the
Main Event to commence. Referee Charles Galliant jogs down the ramp
and up the steel steps making his entrance to the ring. Charles
Galliant enters shaking the hand of ring announcer Peter Santos. The
crowd is heard cheering heavily with various Doomsday and Apache
signs scattered in different locations of the arena. Peter Santos
looks around the arena while JP and Sully is on standby.]
JP: The match we have all been waiting for
all night is about to get underway.
Sully: The vacant Television title will
finally have an owner by the end of the night.
JP: Sean Harley was undefeated while holding
the Television title but unfortunately the MWF lost the assistance of
"The Phoenix".
Sully: Three men gunning for the coveted
Television title.
JP: But for one man it is all about
revenge.
Sully: Your right there JP as we all know
the "Deadly One" has returned and he is out to finish what he started
last week with Odin.
JP: Doomsday doesn't seem to have any ring
rust from his rigorous training sessions.
Sully: But he has been in the ring with
trainers not real potential superstars like Apache or Odin.
JP: Very true Sully but Doomsday just
doesn't seem to miss a beat even when on a little vacation.
Sully: Odin of course is the number one
contender for the Television title, rightfully you would assume he
deserves to win it tonight.
JP: But Apache has defeated both men who are
in the Television title division a few weeks ago in that fatal four
way that also consisted of former MWF wrestler Sean Harley.
Sully: Odin is now expressing his anger in
every match set for the future, ready to unload all the pent up
frustration to help him gain the advantage.
JP: But don't count Doomsday nor Apache out
you have a man who is crazed on the darkness and is also part of
Thunder Bull's famous Team Elite.
Sully: And the other man has so much fury
within that he look to be ready to explode.
JP: This match looks to me a historic match
as we see either the young talent become Television champion in
Apache or Odin or the veteran and former World and Television
Champion Doomsday will be crowned a two-time Television champion when
Dynamite goes off the airwaves.
Sully: Let's leave this in the hands of ring
announcer Peter Santos.
[The bell tolls, which signals another slight cheer from the
Houston crowd and Peter Santos takes his spot in the middle of the
ring as the lights soon dim to add the apprehension to the atmosphere
for all three men that are competing in tonight's Main Event. The
crowd soon seizes the noise and Peter Santos bellows out in his
trademark voice.]
Peter Santos: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is
scheduled for one fall and is a Triple Threat match to crown the new
Maximum Wrestling Federation Television Champion!
[Peter Santos nods at the crowd as the rather anti-climax feeling
surrounding the arena take over the announcement. Peter Santos cracks
a smile but soon has the opportunity to speak again.]
Peter Santos: First making his way to the ring from Unknown,
weighing in at 250lbs the number one contender for the Television
title Odin!
["Into the Void" by Nine Inch Nails hits the arena and the video
package plays on the MaxiTrons of Odin's victims and past success.
Odin strides out onto the rampway, swinging his arms back and
inhaling the anticipation in the air before walking down the ring to
a chorus of boos from the crowd. Odin slides into the ring and
ignores the abuse hurled at him from the Texas crowd. Odin looks on,
his eyes seems to be the look of pure concentration. Odin parades
around the ring for a brief moment until his music dies down and
Andrew WK &endash; "Tear It Up" blasts over the loud speakers to a
large cheer from a huge section of the crowd.]
Peter Santos: And his opponent, first from Parts Unknown,
weighing in at 299lbs Team Elite member the "Dark Conscience"
Apache!
[The music continues to play over the PA System as the arena is
bathed into eternal darkness with candles spread out on stage and out
steps Apache holding his hands clasped together and his face down as
if ashamed of something he committed. Apache walks slowly and
steadily towards the ring and climbs up on the apron and between the
ropes. Apache locks eyes with Odin who is testing the suitability of
the ring ropes. Apache listens to the huge cheers from the crowd and
holds onto his disfigured face. The music fades away and there is a
brief pause. Suddenly "You Know You're Right" by Nirvana strikes over
the sound system as a pyrotechnic explodes on top of the ramp. There
is a huge roar from the crowd as the signs of Doomsday are lifted in
the air in full support for Doomsday and Peter Santos has to
eventually speak over the crowd.]
Peter Santos: And the last participant entering this match,
from New York, weighing in at 310lbs he is the "Deadly One"
Doomsday!
[This is met with a huge ovation and out walks the huge stance of
Doomsday who just stands at the top of the rampway looking at the
crowd as he lifts his head up. He observes the arena from this
overwhelming response and begins his journey down the ramp. Odin
looks on shouting at Doomsday and taunting the crowd. A small section
of the crowd nearby begins a "Apache! Apache Apache!" chant and this
soon grows stronger but is mixed in with a loud earth shattering
"Doomsday! Doomsday! Doomsday!" chants.]
JP: Listen to this crowd they are split
between Apache and Doomsday tonight.
Sully: Come on where is the support for the
talented and unpredictable Odin?
[All of a sudden "Odin Sucks! Odin Sucks! Odin Sucks!" echoes
around the arena much to the delight of Doomsday who has finally
reached ringside and makes his way up the steel steps. Odin looks on
bemused but still looks on ready to strike.]
JP: The fans answered your request
Sully.
Sully: I said support not curse words that
are meaningless at Odin! He does not suck!
JP: The fans are under the impression he
does.
Sully: The fans are always wrong JP never
falls for it.
JP: Fall for what?
Sully: Hypnotism.
JP: You idiot!
[Doomsday prepares to enter the ring, his first foot stepping in
to more cheers. The cheers turn to gasps as Odin lunges forward at
Doomsday and knocks him off the ring apron and Doomsday crashes into
the barricade. The fans look over checking on the "Deadly One" who
isn't moving. Charles Galliant has no alternative but to ring the
bell and the match is officially underway. Odin smiles at his handy
work but is met with a huge dropkick to the jaw from Apache to a huge
response. Apache runs forward with a baseball dropkick into the
sternum of Odin who grimaces from the shot. The crowd is now behind
Apache who continues his assault by mounting Odin with furious right
hands. Odin attempts to cover up but to no avail, as the heavy blows
are too much. Odin has no choice but to bail out of the ring to
regain his composure.]
JP: A sneak shot to Doomsday from Odin
obviously not wanting any part of the enraged "Deadly One".
Sully: Oh please the man is more that ready
Odin was proving that Doomsday wasn't on guard.
JP: Both Doomsday and Apache are the heavy
men in this match and when those two collide in this match watch out
for the ring to crash from the impact.
Sully: Who will be derailed from the title
picture?
JP: My choice of course is Doomsday to go
all the way and win this Sully.
Sully: As much as I want to pick Odin I am
afraid I must pick Apache from his past performance, he has been on a
role since signing a permanent contract with the MWF.
[Odin kneels down holding onto his abdomen from the sharp kicks.
Apache just smiles sadistically waiting in the ring and roaring at
Odin to re-enter the ring. Odin backs off but his tracks are soon
stopped as he turns around to the meeting figure of Doomsday.
Doomsday blocks a shot from Odin and nails him with a huge right hand
that staggers Odin. Odin holds himself up with the steel steps but
Doomsday just hoists Odin up like a sack of potatoes and onto his
shoulders. Doomsday throws Odin high into the air and Odin crashes
face-first into the steel ring steps. Apache looks on at Doomsday's
onslaught as Odin bounces back from the blow and back into the hands
of Doomsday. The "Deadly One" grabs Odin by the throat with a look of
rage in his eyes but that soon changes to a cringe as Odin nails a
low blow.]
Sully: A wise veteran move there from
Odin.
JP: That was illegal!
Sully: Now, now JP it's not that bad.
JP: Yes it is it's illegal!
[Undetected by Charles Galliant Apache rolls to the outside into
the awaiting boot from Odin. Apache covers his face and Odin charges
forward at full head of steam nailing a pump kick. Apache flies
backwards and into the barricade crashing with such force that the
barricade collapses.]
Sully: Oh my god!
JP: That was just sick.
Sully: Genius Odin is just a genius!
JP: A cold-hearted bastard more like.
Sully: JP! What's with the disrespect,
you've been sour all day!
JP: I didn't get much sleep because someone
next door stayed up watching cartoons last night.
Sully: Hey it was free!
[Apache seems to be somewhat motionless while Odin begins laughing
to himself. Charles Galliant orders Odin to get back into the ring.
Odin lifts up the strongly built Doomsday and rolling him into the
ring. Odin rips off the crimson red trench coat belonging to Doomsday
and throws it to the outside. Odin climbs to the outside and scales
the top rope shouting at Doomsday to stand to his feet. Doomsday
seems to be hearing Odin's voice and is back to a vertical base and
jolts in a sprint towards Odin. Odin shakes his head frantically and
the "Deadly One" press slams Odin over his head and into the canvas.
Odin screams in pain as Doomsday runs into the ropes and comes back
with a massive leg drop. Doomsday with the cover and Charles Galliant
administrate the count, 1 2 Odin accentuates the kickout with the
shoulder up.]
JP: Doomsday in firm control.
Sully: It won't be long until Odin fires
back and becomes the Television Champion.
JP: I thought you were rooting for
Apache?
Sully: That worthless piece of trash? The
man doesn't know what daylight means why would I pick him? You must
have misheard me JP I distinctly said Odin was my pick.
[Gaining his footing Apache now back in the ring, holding onto his
head from the heavy blow earlier as he crashed and burned into the
barricade. The "Dark Conscience" crouches down as Doomsday is unknown
to Apache's presence and the "Dark Conscience" clasps his hands
around the neck of Doomsday and delivers a reverse ddt into the
cover, 1 2 another kickout of this contest.]
Sully: All three men so determined to make a
name for themselves even though Doomsday has already done so.
JP: A second reign with the Television title
for Doomsday will surely put a smile back on his face.
Sully: He would think his issue with Odin
would be over by winning the Television title wouldn't he?
JP: Not by a long shot Sully Doomsday will
be done with Odin when he finally cripples him.
[Odin is back to his feet while Doomsday uses the ropes for extra
leverage. Apache is now back to his feet and Odin runs forward and
executes a beautiful tornado ddt to Apache, driving the head of the
"Dark Conscience" deep into the canvas. Doomsday intervenes Odin's
offence with a stiff clothesline knocking Odin on his shoulders.
Doomsday however is doubled over in pain with a huge superkick
delivered by Apache and Apache soon follows up with his move known as
the Wet Awakening. Doomsday's body crashes into the canvas and Apache
crawls over for the cover, 1 2 kickout by Doomsday.]
JP: Doomsday isn't giving up so
easily.
Sully: Did you see the sheer power of Apache
when he nailed that move?
JP: Both men rely on their strength.
Sully: While Odin who isn't a small man
relies on his knowledge and stamina.
[Apache is back to his feet and jumps high in the air hitting a
senton with another quick pin attempt, 1 2 this time the cover is
broken up by Odin. Apache holds his head unable to believe that his
chance of becoming the Television Champion was just interrupted by
Odin. Doomsday seems to be throbbing with pain but he still is able
to stand back to his feet. Odin is leaning in the corner and Apache
looks at both men. Apache charges at Doomsday looking for the cross
body block but Doomsday dodges the move and goes flying over the
ropes and crashing to the outside hard. Apache holds onto his spine
while Odin nails some vicious blows to the face of the "Deadly One".
Doomsday however, fires back with huge forearm shots and a european
uppercut.]
JP: This is it the confrontation between
Doomsday and Odin and Doomsday has revenge in mind!
Sully: Odin looks like he has hell to
pay.
JP: Your damn right Doomsday nearly had his
career ended and Odin was the one who tried to knock him off the top
in Doomsday's injured state and Doomsday did not appreciate
that.
Sully: Apache looks to be out of this match
again from that collision to the outside.
[Now gaining the advantage Doomsday has Odin rattled with more
forearm shots. Odin is against the ropes and Doomsday irish whips
Odin into the corner turnbuckle. Doomsday runs at a fast pace with a
corner splash crushing Odin from the massive figure of the "Deadly
One". Odin walks right into the hands of Doomsday. Doomsday lifts
Odin up in a choke hold position as referee Charles Galliant orders
Doomsday to break the hold. Doomsday smiles and falls down with Odin
still in his grip with a variation of a choke bomb. Doomsday holds
his hands on the chest of Odin and into the unorthodox cover, 12
Odin kicks out.]
Sully: Odin is resilient.
JP: I will give him credit where credit is
due he has so much passion for this business to be at the top.
Sully: And no one, not even the returning
Doomsday or the man on a winning streak known as Apache can stop
him.
[Apache is still sprawled out on the outside showing some signs of
movement while Doomsday lifts Odin up by the hair nailing a heavy
blow to the back of the neck of Odin. Doomsday obviously dominating
the entire match from the get-go whips Odin back into the ropes. This
time Odin slides beneath Doomsday and with the go behind nails a
russian legsweep with the float over into the cover as Charles
Galliant initiates the count, 12 the cover is broken up by Apache
who springs over the body of Odin. Odin looks irate and walks over to
Apache, lifting him up and nailing a go behind german suplex. Apache
is folded in half and Odin looks on pleased with the carnage at his
hands.]
JP: Odin now in control and this match is
now even first it was Apache beating the living hell out of Odin then
it swings into Odin's favor then Apache, then Doomsday then Odin then
Doomsday it's like watching a tennis game.
Sully: Back and fourth action?
JP: Exactly Sully neither man is wanting to
give in.
Sully: Both Odin and Apache have tested the
huge frame of Doomsday but neither man can put him away.
JP: Working together as a unit would help
them both but I don't see that happening Sully.
[Odin squats over and walks over to the ropes, climbing up slowly
until reaching the top rope. Odin springs off with hang-time nailing
a diving headbutt to the shoulder of Apache. Apache bolts upright in
pain but his screaming turns into a cry for help as Odin locks on a
variation of a standing crossface submission. Apache has one arm free
grabbing onto the ankle of Odin but Odin wisely moves his legs away
from the grasp of the "Dark Conscience". Doomsday still down on the
mat sits back up looking at the submission hold realizing that if
Apache gives in then Odin would win the Television title. Doomsday
heads in the direction of Odin but is cut off with a kick to the gut
from Apache. Doomsday doubles over and Apache uses his free arm to
nail some shots to the abdomen of Odin, knocking the wind out of the
Television title number one contender.]
JP: Apache managing to escape the hold and
also stop Doomsday at the same time.
Sully: Doomsday was going to help Apache out
of the submission hold but Apache wanted to free himself on his own
accord.
JP: Seems like the self-proclaimed "Dark
Conscience" has a plan.
Sully: No doubt he has evil
intentions.
[Apache has his back turned to both Doomsday and Apache, placing
his arms backwards and around the head and under the chin of both
men. Apache then falls backwards and nails a double neckbreaker!]
JP: A double neckbreaker Sully!
Sully: I have to admit that move was rather
unique.
JP: He could have it won here!
[Covering both men Apache shouts to Charles Galliant to
immediately count which he does so, 1 2 both Doomsday and Odin get
the shoulders up. Apache looks at Charles Galliant and the crowd in
disbelief with the crowd giving a mixed "Apache!" and "Doomsday!"
chants. Jeers are heard, as Odin is the first man to his feet and
stumbles into the ropes. Apache notices Odin is setup and charges
forward looking for a clothesline in the corner but Odin nails a
devastating elbow to the face of Apache who is caught by the throat.
Doomsday has Apache setup for the Lock-N-Load but Odin has other
ideas as he climbs on the second rope and jumps at Doomsday looking
for a double axe handle. Doomsday grabs Odin around the neck also,
clenching in the grasp tightly. Both men try to desperately wriggle
free. The Houston crowd is cheering heavily for Doomsday who has a
sadistic look in his eyes]
JP: He has them set up for the
Lock-N-Load!
Sully: A trip down memory lane when Doomsday
double chokeslammed Wildfire and Troy Knight in that triple threat
match to help him become Television champion.
JP: I remember that day clearly and this is
what made Doomsday what he is today.
Sully: Houston we have a problem!
[Lifting both men in the air at the same time Doomsday throws both
men down hard to the mat as the bodies crumble into the canvas hard
with a double chokeslam known as the Lock-N-Load. The crowd is going
crazy cheering wildly for the "Deadly One" who seems satisfied with
his work.]
JP: This man is unstoppable Sully.
Sully: He is certainly proving why he is
named Doomsday.
JP: This man could become the new Television
Champion in just a few short moments.
[Charles Galliant looks at Doomsday ready for the count and
Doomsday collapses on his knees and drapes his arm over both men into
the double pin attempt, 1 2 but somehow and someway both Odin and
Apache kickout.]
JP: The tenacity of all three men is
unbelievable.
Sully: They all want that Television title
so much and they are willing to risk their careers.
JP: Doomsday has the advantage once again
and he doesn't want to mess this chance up otherwise it will cost him
severely.
Sully: Poor Odin everyone is after this
man.
JP: And rightfully so!
[Doomsday is the first to his feet and Odin soon follows. Odin
turns around and yells at Doomsday, yearning to become Television
Champion and takes the risk running towards Doomsday only to be met
with a lethal big boot from Doomsday. Odin falls to the mat straight
away and rolls to the outside. Doomsday looks over at Apache and
being the assertive monster he is lifts Apache to his feet and places
his head in between his legs. Doomsday calls for the end to cheers
from the crowd once again. Doomsday lifts Apache up like a
lightweight and after a pause brings him down with a malicious
Bombdrop. The ring shakes from the impact but Doomsday doesn't go for
the cover. The "Deadly One" looks to finish the "Dark Conscience" off
once and for all begging and pleading for Apache to rise to his feet.
There is no movement from Apache and so, Doomsday lifts a rather
"spaghetti-legged" Apache back up, clasping onto the arms of Apache
and setting up for the Shotgun Blast. But unaware, Doomsday does not
notice Odin has climbed to the top rope. Doomsday turns around and
lifts Apache up ready to execute the fatal Shotgun Blast but Odin
flies off the top rope and nailing the Fright-Lite to Doomsday
knocking the large man down. The crowd is booing madly and Odin kips
up to his feet and looks over at Apache who has his back turned to
Odin.]
JP: Oh no this could be the finish.
Sully: Come on Odin end the match right now,
call for it!
JP: He might be looking for his favorite
finishing move.
Sully: Time for Apache to witness his worse
nightmare!
[Odin behind Apache hooks Apache up and in position looks for the
Nightmare Snap. Odin is about to fall down to drive the neck of
Apache into the canvas but Apache falls behind Odin and with all the
strength he can muster nails a sharp enziguri to the face of Odin who
swings around and Apache hooks the arms of Odin. Apache looks at the
applauding crowd who encourages Apache to hit the final move. Apache
bends his knees and jumps in the air as high as it can take him,
bringing Odin up with him and gravity bringing the head of Odin down
and drilled into the mat in a spike piledriver.]
Sully: THE APACHE DRIVER JP! NO IT CAN'T
BE!
JP: He hit the Apache Driver and look at
this
Sully: No please don't say it's true!
[The camera is on the ring up close and the crowd urge on Apache
who makes the cover, hooking the leg of Odin and Charles Galliant
moderates the count, 1 Doomsday begins to gain consciousness and
looks at the cover]
Sully: 2
[Doomsday with everything he can bide together jumps at the
cover.]
JP 3
Sully: Doomsday was too late!
[The bell rings and the crowd jump to their feet in joy as Apache
is handed the Television title.]
JP: Oh my god Apache has won the second most
prized possession in the MWF!
Sully: Team Elite is growing stronger by the
minute.
JP: Look at this Sully!
[The bell rings to signify the match is over as "Tear It Up" by
Andrew WK hits the PA System but with the last ounce of energy left
in Doomsday's body he rises to his feet, sweat pouring off his head
like beads and grabs Odin by the throat. Referee Charles Galliant
tries to stop Doomsday's assault but Doomsday shoves the referee to
one side. The "Deadly One" has payback in his mind locking the arms
of Odin and in one quick motion Doomsday hoists Odin in the air and
lands the Shotgun Blast, Odin is driven into the mat cold-heartedly.
The crowd is cheering ecstatically for Doomsday who isn't finished
yet. Doomsday crawls to the outside of the ring and walks over to a
chair. Doomsday lifts the chair to the crowd who gives uproar of
approval. Doomsday enters the ring his job not finished. Doomsday
begs for Odin to rise to his feet, which he does so and in one
explosive crash, Odin's skull meet steel chair. Odin falls on his
shoulders while Doomsday collapses to his knees.]
Peter Santos: Here is your winner, and the new Maximum
Wrestling Federation Television Champion, Team Elite Member the "Dark
Conscience" Apache!
