MWF World Heavyweight Champion: "Perfector of Pain" Thunder
Bull w/The Grudge
versus
ViperJ w/Doomsday and Jane
Non - Title Match
Referee: Charles Galliant
Writer: Ed Walker
JP: This match has a lot of tension
surrounding it after the actions of Thunder Bull last week
Sully: that chair shot to Jane, it was an
act of war wasn't it?
JP: It was Thunder Bull being bully, you
just can't get away with things like that.
Sully: I was surprised he did that, he has
changed a lot in these last few months.
JP: I think being the MWF World Heavyweight
Champion is starting to take its toll on him.
Sully: What? Like eating into his
brain.
JP: He does seem rather warped as of late
and it's worrying, I feel sorry for the rest of the roster and
particularly "The Kovenant" for having to put up with such a power
hungry monster.
Sully: Steven Douglas and The Grudge are
just as power hungry as Thunder Bull!
JP: "The Kovenant" needs to get back to
winning ways, they seem to have had their confidence knocked as of
late and Thunder Bull can set the tone tonightbut hopefully he'll
leave Jane alone.
Sully: ViperJ has the experience of Doomsday
in his corner and that will count for a lot.
JP: Doomsday is of course an old rival of
Thunder Bull and briefly took the MWF World Heavyweight Championship
away from him in that amazing three series of hell they had.
Sully: That was a great run for Doomsday and
Thunder Bull, but all that is in the past and funnily enough both men
will meet again as both these teams look to get closer to the MWF Tag
Team Championships.
[The crowd roar as Peter Santos makes his way into the ring, he
swings the microphone and catches it and applauds the fans for their
support. He raises the mic to his lips and the crowd settle down to
see what he has to say.]
Peter Santos: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is
scheduled for one fall and is a non-title match.
[The crowd applaud the announcement and look towards the entrance
way as they await the first wrestler.]
Peter Santos: Introducing first, weighing in at 275 lbs., he is
the Maximum Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Champion, leader
of "The Kovenant", accompanied by The Grudge, "The Perfector of Pain"
Thunder Bull!
["A Place For My Head" by Linkin Park hit's the PA system and the
crowd jeer as Thunder Bull makes his way out through a haze of purple
lightsall different shades of purple fall across the MWF World
Heavyweight Champion and he raises his arms and taunts the fans. The
Grudge follows behind him, looking around rather nervously.]
JP: This man has taken the MWF onto his
shoulders over the past few months, while others have fallen by the
way side this man has just kept on going and formed "The Kovenant"
with two of the MWF's strongest talents.
Sully: Steven Douglas and The Grudge have
rallied under the banner of Thunder Bull and that has helped the MWF
World Heavyweight Champion.
JP: Definitely, because they are two men
that could ruin his title reignI believe they are two of the few men
who could actually defeat him.
Sully: Maybe so.
[The Grudge puts his hand on Thunder Bull's shoulder as the two
men march down the entrance ramp, they shout back at the insults of
the crowd with insults of their own. The Grudge is wearing a t-shirt
with the words "The Kovenant" written across it and he points to them
and then places his hand on his chest where his heart would be.]
JP: The Grudge has found his calling,
despite losing the MWF Xtreme Championship he has not let this get to
him.
Sully: He lost to a man twice his size, if
not moreLeandro is a beast.
JP: I can't believe what Douglas did to
Leandro, he's taken away Jimmy Pez.
Sully: But that arm wrestling match is going
to be something special.
[Thunder Bull reaches the ring and the MWF World Heavyweight
Champion walks round to the ring steps and climbs up to the ring. The
Grudge walks round and climbs straight up onto the ring apron, he
holds the ropes down and Thunder Bull enters the ring to boos and
jeers from the crowd. He walks over to referee Charles Galliant and
shakes the hand of the referee before passing him the MWF World
Heavyweight Championship. The music fades as Peter Santos makes the
second announcement.]
Peter Santos: And the opponent, weighing in at 230 lbs., from
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, accompanied by Doomsday and Jane,
ViperJ!
[The crowd explode with cheers as "Turn It Up, We're Going Down"
by Crowned King hits the PA system and ViperJ storms out onto the
entrance way. He doesn't pause to wait for Doomsday and Jane as he
walks quickly down the entrance ramp, he takes off his t-shirt and
throws it into the crowd who are roaring him on.]
JP: This man means business, we all saw that
chair shot to his beloved wife yesterday and he's not going to take
it.
Sully: Thunder Bull was attempting to strike
fear into the heart of ViperJ but I think it may have back
fired.
JP: If you ask me then ViperJ looks more
fired up than before.
Sully: Doomsday will also be hoping for
revenge after The Grudge put one over his team last week
[ViperJ reaches the ring, Doomsday shouts for ViperJ to wait but
the young Canadian wastes no time and slides under the bottom rope.
Thunder Bull is discussing something with The Grudge, he has his back
turned to ViperJ and he pays for it. The crowd roar as ViperJ
launches himself across the ring and slams into the back of the MWF
World Heavyweight Champion. The Grudge turns angrily to face ViperJ
and is greeted by a right hand to the facehe staggers back but
ViperJ doesn't stop, he slams another right hand in and pushes The
Grudge into the ropes and dumps him clean out of the ring with a
short arm clothesline. ViperJ turns to face the crowd and roars
something inaudible at them but they are on their feet cheering him
on.]
JP: He's come out of the blocks like a
greyhound, ViperJ isn't hanging around and waiting for the MWF World
Heavyweight Championhe's taking it to Thunder Bull!
Sully: I think ViperJ realises that it is
time he stepped up to this level and Thunder Bull is the level that
everyone has to aim for.
JP: Thunder Bull looks a little
rattled.
Sully: ViperJ has been goaded, he's seen his
wife hit with a steel chairI think he's had enough.
[ViperJ turns round as Thunder Bull starts to get to his feet,
Charles Galliant calls for the bell to start the match and the fans
cheer as the bell sounds around the Milan arena. ViperJ crouches down
as Thunder Bull gets back to his feet, he rubs the back of his neck
and looks for ViperJ. All he spots is the boot of ViperJ as the young
Canadian slams a boot into the face of Thunder Bull with a massive
super kick. Thunder Bull is thrown backwards with shock by the move
as ViperJ looks to the outside where Jane applauds her future
husband.]
JP: It has to give you strength to have a
beautiful woman like Jane on the outside supporting you.
Sully: I know it would give me strength!
JP: Doomsday helps as well, that
knowledgeable face standing therehe has over fifty MWF matches to
his name.
Sully: He's won the MWF World Heavyweight
Championship twice, along with every other belt possible in the
MWF.
[Doomsday shouts something to ViperJ and he responds by leaning
down and pulling Thunder Bull's head slightly off the canvas,
Doomsday cheers as ViperJ doesn't help Thunder Bull to his feet, he
just boots him clean in the face! Charles Galliant hurriedly gets in
ViperJ's face as Thunder Bull rolls away holding his face to cheers
from the crowd.]
JP: That told him, that showed the MWF World
Heavyweight Championhe is getting a taste of his own
medicine.
Sully: That really must of hurt!
[ViperJ argues with Charles Galliant, remonstrating that Thunder
Bull hit his wife with a steel chairbut Galliant shakes his head and
threatens to disqualify ViperJ. The young wrestler pushes Galliant
out of the way and runs towards Thunder Bull who is starting to get
to his feet, "The Perfector of Pain" is aware and he reacts to
ViperJ. The MWF World Heavyweight Champion grabs ViperJ as he runs at
him, the clothesline misses as Thunder Bull ducks and ViperJ is
launched up and brought down with a massive spine buster. Thunder
Bull gets to his feet and stands over the fallen body of ViperJ. He
points to Doomsday and Jane, laughing, as he leans down and pulls
ViperJ to his feet. The MWF World Heavyweight Champion whips ViperJ
into the ropeshe comes back and a knee to the groin doubles him up.
ViperJ is bent double in the ring as Thunder Bull puts him into
position and looks for a power bomb. ViperJ is hoisted up and brought
down with massive power by the MWF World Heavyweight ChampionJane
covers her eyes as her fiancée hits the deck and Thunder Bull
covers 1...2! ViperJ rolls the shoulder to the relief of the crowd
and his watching friends.]
JP: Thunder Bull coming back now, the MWF
World Heavyweight Champion has great ring craft and he can make
ViperJ pay for his inexperience.
Sully: The leader of "The Kovenant" will not
take kindly to what he's had to endure so farhe didn't expect ViperJ
to come out that strongly.
JP: There's a lot of emotion in ViperJ right
now and I get the feeling that perhaps he's letting that overflow at
the moment.
Sully: I'm sure that Doomsday will have told
ViperJ to wrestle with an equal amount of head and heartnot too much
of either.
[Thunder Bull toys with his opponent, slowly getting him up to his
feet and disrespecting him with a viscous slap to the side of the
face. ViperJ turns his cheek away, holding it in pain as Thunder Bull
grabs him by the side and executes a tilt a whirl slam. ViperJ is
flat out on his back again and he gasps in pain as Thunder Bull pulls
him over towards the turnbuckle. Thunder Bull makes a signal to the
crowd and taunts Janethe fiancée of ViperJ has seen enough.
She bravely leaps up onto the turnbuckle and gets in the face of
Thunder Bull.]
JP: Is she mad?
Sully: She's right in the face of the MWF
World Heavyweight Champion!
JP: Thunder Bull's going to do something
terrible hereJane's putting herself in terrible danger.
Sully: It's not the smartest move that's for
sure
[ViperJ rolls over and attempts to get to his feet, Thunder Bull
has grabbed Jane by the side of the head and is shaking her around on
the ring apron. Doomsday fires himself into action. The former MWF
World Heavyweight Champion leaps up onto the ring apron and gets
between Thunder Bull and Jane. Doomsday gently pushes Jane off the
side of the ring, she lands on her feet and staggers away sobbing as
Doomsday squares up to Thunder Bull. The Grudge stands watching on
from the other side of the ringCharles Galliant pulls Thunder Bull
away from Doomsday and the ring apron. ViperJ is back on his feet and
Thunder Bull walks backwards, not expecting ViperJ to be up, he walks
straight into the arms of ViperJ and the crowd explode as a reverse
suplex sends Thunder Bull up, over, and onto the mat. ViperJ looks
for a quick cover and the crowd cheer as Charles Galliant gets down
and counts 1...2! The crowd gasp as ViperJ sits back on his heels,
contemplating for a moment what to do.]
JP: He was close there, Thunder Bull was
caught right off guard.
Sully: Not close enough, ViperJ could have
finished it off there and then but he didn't and it might cost
him.
JP: I thought Jane was in real trouble there
but Doomsday was quick to reactwhile The Grudge just stood there and
did nothing.
Sully: He obviously feels that his leader
can handle things.
[ViperJ is back on his feet and he's pulled Thunder Bull up with
him, a right hand keeps Thunder Bull subdued and he leads him across
the turnbuckle. ViperJ slams the face of Thunder Bull into the
turnbuckle, Doomsday claps his hands and urges ViperJ on. The Grudge
shows no hint of emotion as Thunder Bull's head is once again slammed
hard into the face of the turnbuckle. Thunder Bull is moved up onto
the turnbuckle itself, ViperJ pushes the MWF World Heavyweight
Champion up onto the top rope. Thunder Bull sits there and ViperJ
climbs up onto the second ropehe takes hold of the legs of Thunder
Bull and the crowd roar as he flapjacks him clean off the top rope.
Thunder Bull hit's the mat face first and stays there in agony as
ViperJ rolls over.]
JP: Great move from ViperJ, did you see the
elevation he got on that move?
Sully: Thunder Bull might have
underestimated his opponent a littlethat was a great move from
ViperJ.
JP: I'm surprised The Grudge hasn't been
more involved yet.
Sully: I'm sure he is just waiting to see
when his leader needs him, if in fact he does.
[ViperJ has managed to hook the leg and Charles Galliant once
again counts 1...2..! Thunder Bull just manages to kick out in time
and ViperJ wastes no time and has the MWF World Heavyweight Champion
back up on his feet and in a grapple. ViperJ forces the grapple into
a headlock and starts to absolutely dominate the MWF World
Heavyweight Champion. Despite his smaller size he keeps the headlock
on and Thunder Bull drops to his knees and ViperJ grabs the arm of
Thunder Bull and turns it into a clever submission hold. Charles
Galliant gets closer and examines the hold, he declares it legal and
Thunder Bull turns red with exertion as ViperJ calls for him to
surrender. The MWF World Heavyweight Champion shakes his head
slightly and with a massive roar pushes his body upViperJ attempts
to control Thunder Bull but he can't and the hold is broken. Thunder
Bull breaks out and runs to the ropes, hitting the ropes he runs back
and a clothesline knocks ViperJ off his feet and down to the mat.
Jane watches from behind the gaps in her fingers as Thunder Bull
taunts the fallen ViperJ.]
JP: Thunder Bull refuses to give in to this
young upstart, he could fold but he doesn't.
Sully: You seem to forget this is the MWF
World Heavyweight Champion, he doesn't do giving in.
JP: Almost to Tempest, almost he
fell.
Sully: Tempest just failed to put one over
him.
[Thunder Bull has ViperJ back on his feet and he locks up with
himthe crowd are on their feet jeering and The Grudge looks rather
smug as Thunder Bull hits the Thunder Blade. ViperJ's body is twisted
round and he bounces off the canvas. Thunder Bull gets back to his
feet and looks down on ViperJ, Doomsday shouts for Thunder Bull just
to cover and finish it. Thunder Bull shakes his head and starts to
toy with the fading ViperJhe leans down and speaks to ViperJ,
muttering something that only ViperJ can hear.]
JP: This is unfair, the Thunder Blade has
taken a lot out of ViperJ and Thunder Bull could win it here.
Sully: ViperJ said some pretty bad things
about Thunder Bull
JP: but Thunder Bull hit Jane with a steel
chair! What could be worse than that?
Sully: Well, a couple of things
[ViperJ rolls his eyes and looks frustrated as he attempts to get
back to his feet, ViperJ is on his knees and looking to push himself
up when Thunder Bull kicks away the supporting arm of ViperJ and he
falls flat on his face. Thunder Bull looks down with no sense of pity
as ViperJ holds his arm and again attempts to get to his feet
againThunder Bull doesn't hang around and just pushes ViperJ over
and places one boot on his chest for a cocky pin. Charles Galliant
counts 1...2..! ViperJ just manages to push the boot off in time and
he rolls towards the ropes. Thunder Bull follows him but ViperJ rolls
clean out of the ring, Thunder Bull stands too near the ropes and as
ViperJ rolls out he grabs the foot of Thunder Bull and pulls him
towards the ropes. Thunder Bull hits the ropes face first and bounces
off them into the ring and ends up flat on his back. ViperJ crouches
outside the ring panting heavily. Charles Galliant is about to count
when The Grudge comes round and grabs ViperJthe crowd jeer but these
jeers grow to confused cheers as The Grudge rolls ViperJ back into
the ring.]
JP: What is the The Grudge doing?
Sully: He's put ViperJ back into the
ring
JP: Thunder Bull won't be too happy about
that I'm sure!
[Thunder Bull is down and ViperJ crawls over and with a determined
look on his face grabs Thunder Bull and hauls him to his feet. He
pulls Thunder Bull into position and makes the universal sign for the
pile driverthis causes cheers from the crowd as ViperJ hit's a pile
driver on the MWF World Heavyweight Champion. Thunder Bull's head is
crunched into the canvas and ViperJ rolls clear and heads straight
for the top rope. Thunder Bull is out on the canvas and ViperJ climbs
the turnbuckle as Jane and Doomsday cheer and applaud. ViperJ reaches
the top rope and he turns to look down at where Thunder Bull is flat
on his back.]
JP: This is itthis is the moment that
ViperJ has been looking for.
Sully: If he can land something now then he
could have a victory over the MWF World Heavyweight Champion in the
bag.
JP: ViperJ, an unlikely contender for any
kind of victory over Thunder Bull is within seconds of a momentous
win.
Sully: Here he goes
[ViperJ closes his eyes, mutters something to himself, he tenses
his body and leaps off the top rope and executes the Low Down! ViperJ
flips off the top rope and lands the move perfectly onto the prone
body of Thunder Bull. ViperJ manages to get his arm over Thunder Bull
and the crowd cheer as Charles Galliant counts1...The Grudge stays
motionless at ringside2...3! The bell sounds and the crowd are on
their feet cheering as Jane and Doomsday rush into the ring and pull
ViperJ to his feet.]
JP: He's done it! ViperJ has beaten Thunder
Bull and gained revenge for that viscous chair shot last week.
Sully: But The Grudge has a lot to answer
for, he threw ViperJ back into the ring and cost Thunder Bull the
chance of a victory.
JP: The MWF World Heavyweight Champion will
have some serious questions to ask when he is able to view the replay
of this match and everything that went wrong.
Sully: "The Kovenant" don't seem as strong
as they once were.
Peter Santos: And your winner, through pin fall, ViperJ!
[ViperJ is standing, one of his arms around Janeanother round
Doomsday. They help him out of the ring, he embraces his
fiancée and shakes hands with his partner Doomsday.]
JP: It's great to see ViperJ, this is easily
the biggest win of his career.
Sully: Why would The Grudge help him? These
two men were such great rivals for the MWF Xtreme Championship.
[The match is over and The Grudge get inside the ring with Thunder
Bull's world title. The champion gets to his feet and goes to grab
his title but as he did, The Grudge cracks it right across the world
champions head, sending him backwards.]
JP: What the hell?
Sully: That's the champ... He can't do
that.
[The crowd are cheering loudly as The Grudge puts the title down
on the mat and picks Thunder Bull up by his long hair. He puts him in
position and then looks right and left before hitting The Grudge
Ender, sending the world champion heavily into the mat. At this point
Douglas runs into the ring and The Grudge catches him by his hair and
sends him flying out the other side of the ring.]
JP: He's cleaning house...
Sully: His own damn house!
[The Grudge signals for a microphone and gets it as he stands over
Thunder Bull with his title in hand, looking down at the writing. His
name is being chanted loudly throughout the arena and he smiles as
raises the microphone and speaks as the arena shrinks into silence
once again.]
The Grudge: It's time for me to step out of
the shadows. The shadows of people like you, who are holding me back
when I should be at the top. I should be the pinnacle of this
company. Not you. I'm sick and tired of you saying how things go
around here and I'm sick and tired of you having this punk.
[He shakes the leather title in the face of Thunder Bull. He
speaks as the arena are ecstatic.]
The Grudge: The Kovenant was never an active
idea in my head, up here.
[He points to his head.]
The Grudge: It was all just a plan to get
inside there.
[He then points to Thunder Bull's head.]
The Grudge: To gain your trust,
understanding so I could stab you in the dark. Since this god damn
thing started I've been waiting the day when I would stand over you
with the world championship in hand. Leaving you in a pool of
self-pity and giving that jackass...
[He points to Douglas who is unconscious outside the ring.]
The Grudge:.. his marching orders. 'Bull,
it's time for you to step down because in the year that you've
dominated this company I've felt sick and disgusted. I've hated every
god damn second of it... I hate you Thunder and now you've got the
enemy of your nightmares. An icon of the wrestling industry and a man
who is going to make your life a living hell...
[He stands firm, looks up at the lights and then back down at the
champion.]
The Grudge: Every time you walk down a dark
alley, everytime your all alone... You will learn to fear me. I'm not
going anywhere but you are. I'm sending you to your demise. You're
going down the ladder of success you've climbed and I'm going to
stand at the top smiling in your face.
[He raises the MWF World Heavyweight title and stares at it with
his dark eyes. He looks down at Thunder Bull and then back at the
gold once again. He speaks.]
The Grudge: I'm coming for your title and
I'm coming to tear The Kovenant apart... Watch your back as there is
a new sheriff in this town.
[He drops the microphone and the title onto the chest of Thunder
Bull and rolled out of the ring. He backs up the ramp smiling.]
JP: He's opened up a can of worms here
tonight...
Sully: Goddamn it, he's left The Kovenant in
shatters and he looks set to try and end the procasinator's
reign.
JP: It's going to be hard work...
Sully: Ladies and gentlemen, that's all
we've got time for.
JP: Good night!
Sully: Same place, same time next
week...
[The footage ends with Douglas helping Thunder Bull to his feet.
The world champion's face is pulsating. The camera then shoots The
Grudge who's face is full of laughter. He gets to the top of the ramp
and draws around his waist with his finger. He then makes the 'just
bring it' sign to Thunder Bull as the MWF goes off of the air after
an action packed Monday Night Dynamite.]
