"Homicidal Creep" The Grudge w/Steven Douglas
versus
MWF Tag Team Champion: Mak w/Sozzey
Singles Match
Referee: Grant August
Writer: Steven Avigne
JP: What a night it has been, even without a
large roster Ed Walker seems to never disappoint.
Sully: Suckupsayswhat?
JP: What?
Sully: Haha...
Peter Santos: The following contest is scheduled for one fall,
entering first, being accompanied to the ring by the MWF's Television
champion Steven Douglas, from Miami, Florida, Kovenant member, The
Grudge!
[The Grudge, a man furious about losing his Xtreme title two
Sunday s ago, walks down the ramp accompanied by Steven Douglas and
boos. The Grudge seems to not pay attention to the Italian fans, as
Steven Douglas, along with his Television championship over his
shoulder, asks a fan for a high five, only to move his hand when the
fan throws his hand down. He flips the fan off afterward and
continues walking down the ramp with The Grudge, a man with a very
emotionless face, being furious about the loss but also seeming a bit
confused with his place in the MWF. As The Grudge rolls into the ring
and Douglas moves to the outside of it, the fans boos stop.]
Peter Santos: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring
by co Tag Team champion Sozzey, from Brooklyn, New York, one half of
the Tag Team champions, Mak!
[The team of Kronik come to the ring along with the sounds of
Linkin Park s "Numb". The Tag Team champions walk with a certain
stride as the fans cheer the both on. As they reach the ring, Sozzey
keeps a close eye on Douglas as Mak concentrates on The Grudge. As
Mak rolls in, The Grudge immediately goes on the attack with kicks to
the back of the head, keeping Mak down on the mat as the bell rings.]
JP: The Grudge looking to get this match
going quickly!
[The Grudge drops an elbow on the back of Mak, then begins to pull
his head backwards by his chin, letting go after the referee's four
count. Looking angry, he grabs Mak and brings him to his feet,
connecting with a series of punches before throwing him across the
ring to the ropes, then catching him with a powerslam into a pin
attempt. 1...kickout by the co Tag Team champion. Grudge picks Mak up
yet again as Douglas looks on with his hands on the edge of the mat,
sharing foul comments with Sozzey who is on the other side of the
ring.]
Sully: None of these men like each other,
and I'm talking about the men in and outside the ring.
[The Grudge goes to kick Mak in the chest, but Mak catches his leg
and ducks an enziguiri attempt, leaving The Grudge to fall to the
mat. Mak quickly goes on the attack, grabbing the legs of The Grudge
and flinging him upwards into the turnbuckle. As The Grudge falls
backwards, Mak grabs under his leg for a school boy pin,
1...2...kickout! Mak quickly gets to his feet and lands a few kicks
to the midsection of The Grudge before picking him up and slapping
his chest with multiple knife edge chops. After a while, The Grudge
comes back with a knife edge chop of his own, making Mak hold his
chest and also sending a loud smack sound throughout the arena. Mak
comes back with his own, and the two share knife edge chops before
The Grudge decides to end the mini war with a kick, knocking Mak to
the mat.]
JP: Both men are sore after all of those
hard chops!
Sully: Their chests are redder than Walker's
face after he came in last place in the PX ratings not too long
ago!
JP: Last place?
[The Grudge goes to the mat, pummeling Mak with a series of
punches before laying on him for a pin, 1...2...kickout by Mak. The
Grudge lifts him to his feet and slams a few punches to Mak's face,
forcing him to lay on the ropes, then clotheslining him to the
outside of the ring. The Grudge goes to referee Grant August and
distracts him, pretending like he hurt his hand in the process of the
clothesline. As he distracts him, Mak begins to get to his feet, but
is met with a hellacious hit to the face with the Television
championship by Steven Douglas, catching him off guard and sending
him to the mat again. Seeing this, Sozzey runs behind Douglas and
attacks him, sending him to the mat and sending both the Television
and one of the Tag titles to the ground. Sozzey picks Douglas up and
the two begin to brawl as The Grudge pushes past Grant August, then
rolls to the outside.]
JP: Damn that Douglas, he used that
Television title illegally!
Sully: If August would have been looking, he
wouldn't have gotten away with it. Really it's the referee's
fault.
JP: That's bologna, The Grudge distracted
the ref while Douglas cheated, it s not the referee s faut.
[The Grudge lifts Mak to his feet, then picks him up and drops him
onto the barrier. The referee begins the ten count, 1...the former
Xtreme champion takes a short break as a few referee s are forced to
come down to the ring to break the Douglas and Sozzey brawl up.
2...As the referee's hold both men back, both seem to calm but
suddenly Sozzey breaks free and goes to attack Douglas again, forcing
the referee s to drag him backstage. 3...The fans boo as "The
Enervator" is let free, saying that he can stay calm as long as
Sozzey is gone. 4...The Grudge brings Mak to his feet, but Mak is
able to shove The Grudge away, then clocks him with a flying forearm.
5...]
JP: They had better get back in the ring
soon, or else they'll both be counted out!
Sully: No one wants to see a tie!
[Mak brings The Grudge to his feet, then pulls his head under the
co Tag Team champion's arm and lands a dangerous DDT on the minimally
padded floor. 6...Mak slowly gets to his feet, trying to get back
into the ring to break the count. 7...The Grudge is barely moving,
holding his head on the mat, showing no signs of getting to his feet.
8...Mak gets to the ring apron, using it as a desperate attempt to
pick himself up. 9...The Grudge is starting to move more, very slowly
getting to his knees. Right before the count is finished, Mak gets
his body in the ring and breaks the count, then rolls back outside
the ring, collapsing on the floor. Both men are on their knees,
pulling either the barrier or the ring apron to get to their
respective feet.]
Sully: Mak barely broke the count up!
JP: Very close!
[Eventually both men get to their feet, with The Grudge kicking
Mak in the gut then rolling him back inside the ring before getting
back inside himself. Once both men are in, The Grudge lifts him to
his feet where the men begin trading punches until The Grudge ducks
one of Mak s punches, then catches both of his arms in a double arm
DDT position, then drops The Grudge with The Grudge Ender. He rolls
on top of Mak, 1...2...3!]
JP: The Grudge wins it, but not without
help.
Sully: He could have done it blindfolded!
Mak is a tag team specialist, he never should fight in singles
matches!
JP: You don t give him enough credit, he is
a masterful wrestler.
Peter Santos: Here is your winner, through pin fall, The
Grudge!
[The Grudge holds his hands up high as Mak rolls out of the ring.
Steven Douglas gets in the ring with the Television title over his
shoulder, giving a handshake with The Grudge and telling him to go
backstage because he has some business to take care of. The Grudge
leaves the ring, walking up the ramp as Douglas orders Peter Santos
to give him the microphone. Santos does as he is told, and once The
Grudge is gone, Douglas begins speaking.]
Steven Douglas: Well, well, well, look where
we are, Milan, Italy. I was looking forward to goin home after last
week s Dynamite, but then I realized that I had to go from one crap
country to another. Seems as if I can t get a break round here, can t
even go home yet. I don t want to be here, you don t want me here, so
let s all try to make this as quick and easy as possible so I can get
the hell out of this cesspool. Leandro, I think it d be wise for you
to come on out here, we gotta talk.
[Leandro's music hits as he walks out from the backstage, looking
completely monstrous. He is wearing tan pants and a wife beater tank
top, and stops at the top of the ramp, without his manager.]
Steven Douglas: Where's your little voice
box?
[Leandro keeps a mean glare on Douglas, as Steven begins to
smile.]
Steven Douglas: Oh, wait, I know where he
is, why don't you take a look at the MaxiTron.
[Leandro turns slightly, still wanting to keep an eye on Douglas
until he sees Pez, strapped down to a chair with his mouth covered in
the boiler room. He completely turns now, staring at the MaxiTron as
his manager struggles to get free. Leandro begins to rush backstage,
but Douglas stops him.]
Steven Douglas: Whoa, hold on there son.
Hear me out first, then you can go find him.
[Leandro pays little attention to Douglas as he stops briefly, but
goes back to heading backstage.]
Steven Douglas: Leandro, you go back there
now and he dies.
[Not knowing if the threat is real or not, Leandro again stops and
slowly turns his head to Douglas, his head almost shaking in fury.]
Steven Douglas: Here's the deal. You want
your manager back, you can get him, but you gotta do something first.
Next week, you and me, mono e mono, Douglas and wetback, have an arm
wrestling contest.
JP: An arm wrestling contest?
Steven Douglas: You win, you get Pez back,
nothing more, nothing less. You lose, I'll still let you have him
because I'm gettin tired of smelling his cheap cologne, but not only
do we have a match at MAYhem, but I get to choose the stip the week
after. That's the deal, take it or leave it.
[Leandro is now burning up with anger, beginning to head down the
ramp and to the ring.]
Steven Douglas: Stop where you stand, you
hit me, you even think about hitting me, he dies. You think I'm
joking? You know, we were in prison together. Five long years I spent
there, and not a soul messed with me after my first day. You should
know that, you were there my first day. I walked in and some punk
wanted to get his hand on fresh meat, and do you remember what I did
to him? I'm sure you do, everyone knew, I broke that *bleep* arm and
snapped his neck. You saw it first hand, I was in solitary
confinement for a month but it was worth it because then, no one
dared to mess with me. So you have two choices, come and hit me,
which would give you satisfaction but would cause his death, or find
him backstage. So, what's it gonna be?
[Leandro is furious ripping his shirt off and punching the ring
barrier in utter fury. After getting minimal aggression out, he stops
and stares at Douglas, hesitating to do either of his choices. He can
t decide; the fury blurs his vision and his thoughts, but knowing he
has to make a choice, he finally chooses to find his manager. He
storms back up the ramp, leaving Douglas with a big smile on his
face. Leandro rushes through the backstage area to the boiler room,
tossing up tables and scaring everyone in his path with his utter
fury. He kicks open the boiler room door and searches, only to find a
little note on the floor. He picks it up and begins reading, one half
of the note is in English, then the other half is translated into
Spanish. It reads, "Make your choice, are you in, or are you out?"
Leandro drops the note and stares the camera following him dead into
the lens and says, "Estoy en, usted bastardo."]
Sully: What did he say!?
JP: I know a bit of Spanish, and I believe
he said, "I'm in, you bastard."
Sully: This feud is heating up, and now an
arm wrestling match next week!
