MWF Xtreme Champion: "Hardcore Living Legend" Insane
Wayne
versus
Anarkist
Singles Match
Referee: Charles Galliant
Writer: Ed Walker
[The crowd are watching and waiting as the arena lights circle and
pick out various members of the crowd with banners of some comic
effect....we join John Pilkington and Tim Sullivan who are sitting at
the announce table, the usual rabble of rowdy fans behind them.]
JP: This match is going to be a real clash
of the titans, Anarkist and Insane Wayne have met before and it's
always a heavyweight battle when they collide.
Sully: It's enough force to move a small
house when these two men clash, it'll be gigantic.
JP: Insane Wayne is of course now the MWF
Commissioner and with that comes the power and ability to manipulate
the MWF to how he wants it.
Sully: Except for the fact that he is
blatantly abusing his power at every opportunity he gets!
JP: He doesn't abuse his power, Walker has
invested a little power in Wayne to take the pressure of
himself...and he's also sold some shares to Dom Stoate in a move that
could prove very dangerous.
Sully: Is this some scheme Walker is
plotting?
JP: Some are saying that Walker is planning
to take a more reserved view in the MWF...he might well be the MWF
President and cornerstone of "Twisted Vizion" but I think he's
feeling it lately.
Sully: His job requires intense pressure and
Walker must be feeling it, his hair seems to be going greyer by the
day.
JP: Delegating power could prove a stroke of
genuis or it could of cause be the opposite, giving Dom Stoate more
power is not a wise move when he is such a volatile General
Manager.
Sully: One day Stoate can be an evil
mastermind, the next he's an incompetent fool...you never know what
to expect from Dom Stoate.
JP: We know what to expect tonight though, a
real heavyweight battle...the smart money is on Anarkist just for his
experience of being a two time MWF World Champion but after being
defeated last week by Seth Caliko you have to wonder if he's
beginning to lose his touch a little.
Sully: There was one reason, and one reason
alone that he lost that match...NomaD!
JP: The MWF World Champion made his presence
known last week on Monday Night Dynamite, he "screwed" Anarkist out
of the match and left the former two time MWF World Champion
fuming.
Sully: It's not often you see Seth Caliko
and NomaD on the same page but NomaD put aside differences to cause
Anarkist a major headache.
JP: I think Anarkist was planning on
reaching MAYhem with a clean slate but that idea has been put to rest
now....and Seth Caliko must be hoping business is picking up.
Sully: Insane Wayne's going to be rusty
though, I think he's getting a bit too used to those comfy chairs and
he's forgotten how uncomfortable and unforgiving the ring can
be.
JP: Never! Insane Wayne is a wrestler, he
might be Commissioner Wayne but as soon as he steps inside that ring
he transforms into Insane Wayne and he'll be ready for
anything.
Sully: What I'm saying is that it's been a
while since he stepped inside the ring...he might well be lacking in
those few final touches fo stamina.
JP: Ring rust will never affect Insane
Wayne...
Sully: ..."Twisted Vizion" are banned from
ringside tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if that had some affect on
the match tonight.
JP: Wayne doesn't need "Twisted Vizion" to
function, he is a wrestler who know how to use the ring to its full
advantage.
[Peter Santos has made his way to the ring while JP and Sully are
talking, the six thousand strong Glasgow crowd roar as Santos is
surrounded by a spotlight and he begins to bellow out the
stipulations of the match.]
Peter Santos: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is scheduled for
one fall and is a non-title match....the stable known as "Twisted
Vizion" are also banned from ringside!
[A jeer goes up at the announcement of this stipulation, Sully can
be seen applauding while JP shakes his head.]
Sully: It's good to see that some
sportsmanship still lives on in professional wrestling, we all know
that without a rule like that we'd have every "Twisted Vizion" member
surrounding the ring and Anarkist wouldn't know which way to
run.
JP: Anarkist is a big enough guy to take
care of half of "Twisted Vizion", but he'll struggle with Insane
Wayne tonight, especially if Wayne gets his "insane" side
back.
Sully: He'll never get it back, he's more of
the suit wearing kind now.
JP: I heard a rumour the other day that
Wayne is being lined up to become the next MWF President or
General....
Sully: I don't want to hear it!
[Sully screams as the camera goes back to Peter Santos who bellows
once more.]
Peter Santos: Introducing first, from The Miserys, Florida,
weighing in at 275 lbs., he is the MWF Xtreme Champion and
Commissioner, a member of "Twisted Vizion", the "Hardcore Living
Legend" Insane Wayne!
[A wild cheer goes up from the crowd as the first beats of "My
Sacrifice" by Creed hits the PA system and Insane Wayne strides out
to great applause. The MWF Commissioner is dressed in his wrestling
attire, a long black waistcoat just covers his wrestling pants which
are jet black with a swirling silver pattern. Wayne has the MWF
Xtreme Championship on his right hand shoulder and he rubs it as he
walks onto the entrance way and takes in the view.]
JP: Six thousand people are going nuts here
for the MWF Xtreme Champion and Commissioner...
Sully: ....these Scottish people sure do
make a lot of noise, Glasgow is coming alive.
JP: They've been alive all night, six
thousand fans of the MWF are on their feet for the MWF Commissioner
and what an impact he's had since taking the position.
Sully: Whether it's a positive impact is a
cause for debate and discussion.
JP: He's better than Mr. Portway, you can't
deny that.
Sully: It's not hard to be better than the
former Commissioner.
[Insane Wayne walks down the entrance ramp, as he does silver pyro
explodes behind him and he glances back with a grin on his face. His
eyes sparkle as he looks at the ring, the ropes are silver and the
MWF logo hangs above it, moving slightly in a breeze. Wayne reaches
the ring and he steps up onto the ring apron and steps straight
in...he paces around, taking the MWF Xtreme Championship and raising
it to the cheering crowd. Wayne takes a mic off Peter Santos.]
Wayne: Listen up.....it has been passed that
this match will not be a standard match, oh no, tonight you're going
to see Anarkist versus Insane Wayne for the MWF Xtreme
Championship!
JP: He's over ruled Walker, he can't do
that!
Sully: He just did....this match is for the
MWF Xtreme Championship, it's on now, it's reall on!
Wayne: I'm sorry Walker, but tonight is
about my pride....and my ability as the MWF Xtreme Champion. Now
Anarkist you get your sorry Canadian ass down here so I can kick it
all the way to Chicago!
[A massive cheer goes up from the crowd in response to Wayne's
comment, Wayne throws the mic back to Peter Santos who catches it.]
JP: The fans really do love this man, some
call him the greatest MWF wrestler who hasn't been the MWF World
Champion.
Sully: He never will be the MWF World
Champion, he has always lacked that cutting edge.
JP: He's the MWF Commissioner instead, and
that is a position that perhaps has even more power than being the
MWF World Champion.
Sully: You get a nicer office and you don't
have to wrestle half as much! Plus you get paid a hell of a lot more
money than before...and you get to wear expensive suits.
JP: There will be no time for expensive
suits tonight, just pure adrenaline..
[Peter Santos is still standing in the ring, Wayne is standing
behind him...talking to referee Charles Galliant, he passes the MWF
Xtreme Championship to Galliant and the referee takes the belt out to
the ring bell table. Santos bellows again.]
Peter Santos: And the challenger, weighing in at 313 lbs., from
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a two time former MWF World Champion,
Anarkist!
[The crowd explode with anger at the announcement and red lights
flicker all around the arena as Anarkist walks out from behind a
screen of dark grey smoke....he pushes away the smoke as he walks
through and glares around at the six thousand strong crowd. The
former MWF World Champion raises an arm in time with "Papercut" by
Linkin Park and begins to stride down the entrance ramp.]
Sully: Anarkist appears to be a man on a
mission, I think he might kill someone!
JP: He won't be killing Insane Wayne that's
for sure, I'd hate to be in Wayne's position right now....he knows he
can beat Anarkist but the look in Anarkist's eyes is very
scary!
[Anarkist breaks into a run and comes charging down towards the
ring, Insane Wayne rips off his waistcoat and waits by the
ropes...Anarkist slides in and Peter Santos runs from the ring as the
two men collide straight away, Anarkist is rising to his feet but
Insane Wayne lands the first blow to the back of Anarkist's head. The
crowd go wild as Wayne brings a knee into Anarkist's face, dropping
the former MWF World Champion to the mat...the bell sounds and
Charles Galliant declares the match officially started.]
Sully: Insane Wayne's taking it straight to
Anarkist, every punch he hits Anarkist with he's going to get back
double later on.
JP: This match is now by Xtreme Championship
conditions and this means that everything goes! Insane Wayne and
Anarkist can inflict as much damage on each other and there is
nothing that referee Charles Galliant can do about it.
Sully: He's simply a puppet on a string who
has to count to three...
JP: ...that's a good thing, referee's should
never get too involved in a match it just detracts from it.
Sully: The MWF is a company that prides
itself on having some of the best referees and sometimes I don't
think we appreciate the talent we have in Charles Galliant, he's a
very talented referee.
JP: But surely, it's not that hard to make a
three count, one, two, three.
[Insane Wayne has irish whipped Anarkist and the former two time
MWF World Champion is backed against the turnbuckle....a stinging
chop goes across the chest of Anarkist and he roars with pain as a
second chop follows. Anarkist grabs Insane Wayne by the shoulders and
shoves him round into the turnbuckle, a jeer goes up from the crowd
as a low flying knee from Anarkist lands in the groin of the MWF
Xtreme Champion. Insane Wayne roars and grabs Anarkist by the
throat....Anarkist attempts to break free but the MWF's Commissioner
holds on tight and lifts up Anarkist. The former two time MWF World
Champion's legs are swinging in the breeze as Insane Wayne let's go
with one hand so that Anarkist is being held up and choked with his
Wayne's right arm and hand!]
Sully: The strength of Insane Wayne! He's
going to choke Anarkist into submission doing that....
JP: ...Anarkist can hardly breathe, look at
his face he's going as red as a puffin...that's insane!
Sully: I'm seriously worried, Charles
Galliant should be able to do something about it.
JP: He can't do a thing, he might be the
head referee but this match is for the MWF Xtreme Championship and
Insane Wayne's extreme side is being reawakened.
Sully: I thought Anarkist had put that side
of Insane Wayne to bed?
JP: Far from it....the MWF Commissioner is
back and firing on full cylinders.
