MWF Television Champion: "Rat Bastard" Gutter Rat

versus

ViperJ and "GMS" Gunman Stinger

Handicap Match

Referee: Grant August

Writer: Dom Stoate

[After the introductions of the three wrestlers of the contest, the referee steps up to each one of them in turn, leaning forwards and checking to make sure that no illegal weaponry is concealed without the boots or knee pads or shirts.]

JP: The referee paying special attention to Gutter Rat, wise to the fact that sometimes Rat likes to bend the rules in order to pick up a win.

Sully: Make sure that he checks in the soles of his boots, too.

JP: The referee is being particularly thorough with the man so don't you worry about that, Sully.

Sully: Good. The man is nothing but a well a rat, JP.

[Eventually, the referee turns away from them and barks down at the official. The bell rings and the fans start to make their noise, spurring on the three wrestlers who stand at separate sides of the ring.]

JP: Here we go. So begins the handicap match. Gunman Stinger and ViperJ, two of the hottest prospects in the MWF today.

Sully: Hot prospect is an understatement! Did you know that in all four of Stinger's matches here in the MWF, he is unbeaten? No one else has that kind of record!

JP: Well, what about your beloved Tempest?

Sully: He has been defeated, JP. But, yes. Only the one time at the PPV. So he and Gunman Stinger do- have something in common! Maybe they should team up!

JP: Oh, give me a break.

Sully: What?

JP: If Gunman Stinger and Tempest team up then we will never hear the end of them. All they seem to do is talk.

Sully: Not talk, JP. They publicise.

JP: Well would you stop publicising and call the damn match?

[By now, after much circling around each other, the two forces finally meet, heading into the centre of the ring. It is ViperJ and Gutter Rat that meet in the middle, Gunman Stinger taking a more backseat view of the goings on. ViperJ is forced down to his knees by Gutter Rat who gets the upper hand. Gunman interferes almost immediately, stepping in and grabbing Gutter Rat's hair. He would give it a hard yank before slamming a foot into the chest of the big man, forcing him to release ViperJ who, after stumbling briefly, finds his feet again.]

Sully: Team work coming into play.

JP: Not the only thing coming into play either. I saw a clear hair-tug.

Sully: Are you a referee, JP?

JP: Well no

Sully: Then what does it matter what you saw?

[ViperJ goes in again, both he and Gunman stepping forwards into the big man and bringing him down to his knees, raining down on him with heavy forearm blows. Gutter Rat lowers his head, protecting it from the clubbing blows before being dragged up to his feet again by both ViperJ and Gunman. Gunman can be seen shouting something at ViperJ and gesturing towards the ropes. ViperJ nods and both of the men grab onto Gutter Rat s wrists, leaning him back into the ropes behind them. They pull themselves back before heaving Gutter Rat across the ring. Gutter Rat comes back off the ropes before being hit with a double clothesline, knocking him backwards onto his back hard. He lands with a crash and ViperJ drops to his knees, going for the cover...1...-Gutter Rat kicks out shortly before the two count. ViperJ does not look too surprised and pulls himself up into a standing position, clinging tightly to the hair of Rat who remains looking dazed and confused.]

JP: Well I have to congratulate the two on their obvious preparation for this match. They have Gutter Rat under control and are not letting him regain any sort of composure.

Sully: They are a good team, it is obvious. And what is more obvious is Gutter Rat's lack of hope. I don't think he is going to be able to fight off these two and I believe that this is going to be a fifth consecutive victory for my main man, GMS.

[ViperJ drags Gutter Rat up to his feet with the aid of GMS who gets a firm grip on Rat's arm. They bring him into a standing position before, after nodding to each other, starting to bring hard fists across and against the skull of Rat who reels, leaning against the ropes as the two punch and strike him. The referee, after noticing that Rat does not look able to rouse himself, would get in between the three, pushing the two back away from Rat who leans against the ropes, struggling for air as he barely stands. ViperJ shouts at the referee, demanding to know why the offence was stopped and continues to do so, distracting him as GMS steps to the side and nails Gutter Rat in the nether-regions. This upsets the fans greatly, but not as much as it upsets Gutter Rat who falls down onto the ground, hands holding onto himself as he howls in pain. GMS nods to ViperJ who looks at him, allowing the referee to return his attention to the match.]

JP: That is dirty! That is dirty, foul play!

Sully: Brilliance! Sheer brilliance!

JP: And the worst part is, I m not sure that ViperJ knew himself what was going on. And if he did, then I am extremely shocked and appalled by him.

[ViperJ looks confused and GMS pats him on the arm, getting his attention back on the issue at hand. The two would lean down as they had done many times before in this match to snag hold of Gutter Rat (who remains gripping himself, wailing and shouting).]

Sully: He could apply for the job of choir boy now!

JP: GMS could have done some serious damage to Gutter Rat there. He may have. It was a despicable display.

[Gutter Rat is pulled up, looking weak and unable to move his hands away from the sensitive area. ViperJ and GMS push him towards the turnbuckle before, as they had done with the punches, pounding down onto his chest with severe chops that can be heard around the arena.]

JP: This is a vicious assault. I don't know if Gutter Rat is going to be able to turn this one around.

[And just as JP says this, Gutter Rat manages to get an arm up to deflect a few of the knife-edge chops away. ViperJ changes his angle so that he is able to land them as effectively as he had been and this gives Gutter Rat a chance to quickly lash out with a huge big boot from close-range! He catches everyone off guard and ViperJ in the jaw, sending him back. The fans start to cheer as he turns to GMS and charges him down with a hard elbow, knocking him back onto the canvas. This revival, despite the reception it gets from the audience, does not last long. He slouches back down into the turnbuckle after not too long, struck by the pain in his midsection and this gives GMS and ViperJ, who struggle to their feet, holding their faces, a chance to get on top of the match again, charging into him with strikes the face, landing Rat against the turnbuckle. GMS, holding onto his face, would yell at ViperJ and the two seize him by the wrists again as they had done before.]

JP: After a spirited comeback from Gutter Rat, the two have the upper hand once more, I'm sorry to report.

Sully: And it was the excellent foresight from Gunman Stinger that has paid off. He hit Gutter Rat where is hurt and now Rat is paying for it. He can barely stand up he is in so much agony.

[The two pull him away from the turnbuckle to lean against the ropes again before leaning him back and catapulting him across the ring. Gutter Rat flies across the ring and the two ready themselves for his return. As he comes back, however, he gets the upper hand, managing to get ViperJ down low with a kick to the stomach before hitting GMS where it hurts (as Stinger had done to him). He grabs onto their heads, pulls them back before slamming them together hard, sending them both flying backwards onto the canvas, much to the delight of all the Rat fans in the audience. He would stumble against the ropes, leaning into them.]

JP: Yes! What a turn around! This time hitting GMS where it hurts!

Sully: That was a low blow! You saw it too! He hit him with a low-blow! Referee!

[GMS screams on the canvas, hands held between his thighs and he head butts the canvas in frustration and pain, teeth bared.]

JP: And now it is all about who can find their feet first.

Sully: C'mon GMS. C'mon ViperJ!

[ViperJ looks, realistically, like the first one to get up, suffering the lesser of the two blows administered by Gutter Rat to the tag team. Gutter Rat can be seen struggling to his feet, but ViperJ is quicker, dashing across the ring before going to hit Rat with a diving drop kick. Rat is quicker in this instance, throwing the flying ViperJ aside with a shove, knocking him down to the canvas. Gutter Rat s eyes are locked firmly on GMS who, with the assistance of the ropes, is slowly getting his bearings. The fans start to scream and cheer on Gutter Rat as he stalks GMS, waiting to hit the Proverbial Train Wreck. He wriggles a bit as he crouches, waiting  for GMS to turn around.]

JP: This is it! Surely it is all over now!

[The referee's eyes are on GMS who holds onto himself, crying out in pain and does not notice ViperJ's lethal shot to the crackers . Of course, one shot to them was pushing it, but two was downright devastating. Gutter Rat drops to his knees, eyes wide which allows GMS to make a sudden recovery, push ViperJ out of the way and rush forwards, hitting a huge drop kick to the face. He would go then for the cover as the referee makes the count...1... 2... 3! GMS stands up, arms raised in celebration, no pain or anguish on his face whatsoever. The fans screaming and jeering him.]

JP: No way!

Sully: Hah! Again, what team work!

JP: That one was obviously very practised! You saw what happened! I am surprised and upset by ViperJ.

Peter Santos: And your winner, through pin fall, Gunman Stinger and ViperJ!

[ViperJ looks down at Gutter Rat, guilt clearly present on his face as GMS hogs the limelight, arms raised in celebration of his fifth straight win.]

Sully: That is number five, JP! An-
