real name has been lost in the midsts of time but the history behind the
nickname stems from his high school days. Crow was unaware of his shifter
powers, living as a dayworlder until he was 15. He was an avid fan of
rock/gothic music, gothic literature and films. Brandon Lee's film The Crow
fascinated him, and he began to imitate hs idol's dress sense, stalking the
corridors of his school in black combat trousers, shirt, and a long black
duster coat. His classmate's ribbing became a badge of honour to him, and he
took the nickname and made it his own.
On his 15th birthday, Crow was diagnosed with ME. This wasting disease was anethama to him, an avid martial artist and athelete, he who had always been active. He pored over refence books, searching for a cure. In the end, he
found one.
Become a Vampire.
Crow's plan was simple. If vampires existed, he would find one and make him
exchange blood. He began his search.
By the time he was 19, Crow was reaching the end of his patience. The
nightworld was such a well kept secret that he had no chance. Luckily, fate
smiled upon him. A member of the Deniker shifter clan, a Lamia vampire
crossbreed, was following up tenuous family tree links. He found Crow in a
bar, semi-drunk. Crow poured out his life history to the smiling stranger,
who once he thought he could cope in return revealed the existence of the
Nightworld. Crow couldn't believe his luck, and he begged Carabas (for that
was the Vampire's name) to make him a vampire, to cure him of the wasting
disease. Reluctantly, Carabas agreed.
After a painful transformation, Crow was back, stronger than ever before.
His martial skills were greatly accentuated by the change. His shifter
powers became prominent, and he took on an obvious shifting animal: The Crow
He now acts as a kind of vigilante for the NW. He roams around looking after
the clans interests, and enforcing the worlds laws. However, he has a lot of
respect for dayworlders and prefers to avoid killing 'good' guys.
