Maxwell's dedication to the very people who are participating in the Maxwell Classic is immeasurable. His constant support and encouragement has provided many with the confidence and drive to succeed. In a world grown weary and untrusting of its young, Maxwell stood out as someone who believed in us, someone who cared. this tournament is a tribute to him and everything he has generously given us: his time, his faith in us, and his friendship. We hope that the tournament lives up to the high standards he has set for us in all aspects of life. Thanks again Mr. Maxwell.

Why Ben Maxwell? Well, if you're asking that question you've never met the man. Maxwell has broadened the horizons and improved the lives of generations of Bedford students. Most of us can honestly say that we wouldn't be the people we are today had we never known Max. Whether he loosens the nerves of test-takers by chirping like the African Swallow, or sheds light on a book while rolling his tie like a used tube of toothpaste, Max always finds a way to...well, words can't really capture what it is he does.
