The Leaderboard...
Dave Hursh catches Dave Wright just after he completed his championship round. Wright shot a 54 (-4) including a record breaking 23 (-6) on the back 9.
Hole 16 will long be remembered as the turning point of the 2003 Maxwell Classic. As Team Red gathered around the green in anticipation of a team title, Jeremy Ciaccia examined his lie under a tree with Blue teammates.
A tough finish to an impressive day by Jeremy Ciaccia. He played a great tournament but fell just short of the Yellow Pinnie.
How Sweet It Is
That's right, Chachee. Take a look at that scorecard. You done good. Ciaccia shot a career best (58, E), good for a 2nd place finish..
Dave Wright is the 5th golfer to sign the Wall of Champions
Team Red took back the Team Title in 2003. Down 3-1 after 9 holes, the Red Team won 6 matches and tied 1 on the back 9 for a 7 1/2 to 4 1/2 victory.   (Back Row:  Dave Storer, Craig Gelormini, Mark Allyn, Dave Wright, Joel Katz.  Front Row:  Andy Katz, Scott Lemke, Curt Wright)
After a disappointing front 9, Craig Gelormini performed when his team needed him most.  Craig set the tone for the back 9 by posting a 28 (-1) and winning his match over brother Corey. He was the deserving winner of the Team Player Award.
Captain Dave Storer's back 9 line-up was orchestrated to perfection.
