| This is just a little silly fic I came up to incorporate three line challenges :) Disclaimer: I don't own any Gundam stuff in any way, shape or form. 1x2, 3x4 Green Thumb "Oh Trowa, just Look what I found!" Quatre breathed, standing near the back of a heavily laden pick-up truck. Reverently climbing up, he proudly stood beside one of the strangest-looking plants Trowa had ever seen. "What is that?" "It's the largest Venus fly-trap Ever grown!" Eyes shining, he ran his hands over it, like a model would a new outfit. "Isn't it just beautiful? Picking the toddler-sized plant up carefully, he attempted to hand it down to an unwilling boyfriend. "Come on, Trowa.. it won't bite!" "Dammit, would you put that thing down?" "But Trowa, it's so beautiful!" Shaking his head, Trowa backed carefully away from the vehicle. Running for the house, he quickly locked himself inside their shared bedroom. "Trowa?" Quatre called after him, disappointment shining in his eyes. "First he doesn't like my Kudzu collection... or my poison ivy.... or even my lovely Hemlock! And now he hates this one too!" Sighing heavily, Quatre went to go find some of his gardeners to help him prepare a wonderful spot for his new favorite plant. *** The next Morning "Morning Wufei." Duo chirped sleepily as he and Heero stumbled into the kitchen. Noticing the strange look on Wufei's face, they looked over towards the french doors, only to find themselves faced with one of the strangest sights they had ever seen. "Woah, how did that.....wait, I don't even wanna know... " Duo closed his eyes for a moment, hoping they were playing tricks on him. "I don't know, but dosen't it look good?" Wufei said, staring at the huge display in appreciation. In the middle of the yard was a beautiful alabaster statue of a nude man.. and in his upraised hands was one of the strangest looking plants they had ever seen. "That statue looks like... Trowa." Heero said, finally snapping his eyes away and gathering several days worth of food. Pulling his Koi behind him, he beat a hasty retreat just in time, passing a sleepy-looking Trowa as he hauled it towards their room. *** a short time later "Quatre." "Yes Trowa?" "Get that THING out of the yard." "But Trowa, it's so beautiful!" "Oh big whoop dee-doo. Wow. Praise the heavens above. Hop on one leg, and sing our country's anthem.... I DON'T CARE! Get it out of the yard!" Trowa stormed off, leaving Quatre to stare at the plant. When Trowa finally reached their room, he was nearly sobbing with frustration. How could Quatre humiliate him like this? Sighing, he walked over to the window, where he could still see the monstrosity. Looking down on it, he suddenly had an idea. *** The next day "Duo, how on earth can you eat so much?" Heero grumbled as they made their way back towards the dreaded kitchen. Duo simply shrugged and opened the door, revealing an even stranger, but much more pleasant sight than before. The statue of Trowa had been changed, and instead of the plant, he now held a statue of Quatre in his arms. "Oh man.." Duo dropped the plates he was carrying, and stared until Heero once again grabbed food and dragged his Koi away, Ignoring Wufei, who was clutching a box of tissues and staring in rapture. Alone in their room, Quatre and Trowa looked down at the work of art and smiled, holding on to one another tightly. "So, forgive me for yelling at you, beloved?" Trowa snuggled the blond boy closer, happily watching the sunlight play across his face. "Forgiven... but just tell me one thing.. where did you put my plant?" Quatre asked. Trowa smiled slightly, and pointed towards the greenhouse, where the dreaded greenery was up on a simple stone block in the center of the nursery. Smiling in content, Quatre continued to study the beautiful statues in the garden. "You know.. statues really are more beautiful than plants... " Giving Trowa a considering look, he smiled, drawing up plans in his mind to replace the greenhouse with an art museum.. after all, everyone should get to see someone as beautiful as Trowa nude. |
