drawing
- so um. this one is collaged, and it represents my feminine
side. i started off making it more feminine, but really, i
would look awful as a transvestite. but all the pieces in
it are taken from pictures of women. this was one of the backwards
justified ones, cause really, i was just making a collage,
and the only magazine i had that i wanted to cut up was a
woman's mag i bought for a friend but never gave to said friend.
after running out of flesh tones in that, i moved on to my
wallpapers, which, being a higher class magazine, has a lot
more closeups of half naked women. although, actually, i did
juse (that's how the teacher said use) some pictures of men
for facial hair, cause damned if i could find many magazines
of women with stubble. plus, almost every time i've heard
the word collage (or homonically similar decoupage) uttered,
it's been from the mouth of a woman. i don't care of homonically
is a word or not. then the background is photocopies of architecture
pictures. cause my mom i think always wanted me to be an architect.
she once sent a nude picture of herself to frank lloyd wright.
that may or may not be true. also, the resolution doesn't
show it very well, it looks like i used very large pieces,
but really, they were quite tiny. let's say half a big toenail
clipping, if you've forgotten for a short spell. it was a
bitch. which helped tie into the theme i just thought up.
