ceramics are gay - so um. oh hey i took a side view kinda. but not very well. so see that hole i circled? that's where the water travels from the sphere at the center, through both sides of the arms protruding up and to the right, and out the spout. it actually works! though not at all well. i can get about 3/4 a cup of tea out of it, while spilling another 1/8 a cup, with another 1/3 cup remaining in the bowl cause it can't get through the holes and up the arms. sadly, this is not the triumph of form and function that i am. maybe i could do it again, but better, but really, ceramics are gay.
