Tried calling and you two must be out... I'm just recovering from my 1:30 lesson; Christy wrote me and I'm gonna write her, then I'm gonna write Marty, then I'm off and down the pike... should be home sometime around 3:30 I'd say.
I think Becca understood our "if the door's shut, knock" talk... we'll see how it goes with her.
I made a mistake and drove to McD's on Steinwehr Avenue for yunch... sucker for special offers that I am, I wanted to get a Phillies Triple Burger Extra Value Meal so I could get the free baseball cards... anyway, I order... I got the most daft McD's counterperson working this summer... "For here or to go?" For here... so of course she's putting it in a bag... $5.19... I give her five and a quarter, and... no change. No sweat, it's only six cents... but then she puts the stuff on my tray and FORGETS THE BASEBALL CARDS.... which is the only reason I'd pay five-fucking-twenty-five for a McDonald's meal anyway. Three strikes and you're out... I was, like, "Uhhh... where's the baseball cards?" And then she gives ME 'tude. She reminded me of that old Sinbad routine about how kids who work at McDonalds are so stupid they can't even get your order right and there's PICTURES OF THE FOOD on the cash register keypad... "Wait... wait... it don't look like REAL french fries..." Sheez.
(Rheal Cormier and David Bell, incidentally... I didn't open the pack but I can see them through the plastic.)
I eat so much less than I used to... felt like a pig, more fries than I knew what to do with and it was just a medium.
