One last email before I hit the sack Mom. Our alarm is set for 4:30 am and we'll be on the road by 5;30. We won't call you right when we leave though. Bri likes to go for breakfast at the Hamilton in Carlisle...we're gonna cruise up there through the orchards and have breakfast then pick up 81... that should get us there around 3 pm unless the border is crazy. But i'll call you and dad right before we leave Carlisle.
I got everything on your list, mom... and a new cooler to put it in...We went out to the lincoln for dinna and afterwards stopped at hollabaugh's and got beautiful cherries, half of which bri and me will probably eat on the road. then when we got back Bri took Becca out and she picked you raspberries.
"tell mimi they're good ones. i tried them and they're good ones."
He was just in the front room with her wacthing the phillies game (my fingers are so tired I can't type roght and I'm not even gonna correct it etierh) and cracking her up every time they say Vicente Padilla: "Padilla Padilla Padilla that's all folks" Every time he says it she laughs louder and longer than she did before and then goes "Do that AGAIN, Daddy!" and he does and she laughs again. this has been going on the last ten minutes.
she's just like tony the way she loves words.
Now they're in the kitchen and he's making her favorite for her: fudge stripe cookies made into sammiches with peanut butter on the fudge side, smooshed together like an oreo. He just brought me one....mmmmmmmmmm...that man has discipline mom...he said he had one. I'd eat half the box, lol.
btw mom the cooler DIDN'T have oysters in it... God I gave brian hell for that Mom and it turns out he cleaned the cooler out before he hit the hay 4th of july nite and didn't remember doing it... what happened was a squirrel got into it and the lid shut on the little guy and he suffocated. roy (the guy who's going to check our mail-watch the house while we're gone) cleaned it out for me. well, he gave the squirrel a decent send off anyway, returned the little fellow to nature, and then he returned the cooler to its rightful owner, ginny... i told him not to clean it and i bet he didn't. let the coffee bitch clean it.
well i'm so looking forward to coming up to see you and dad mom and so's brian and of courseit's all becca can talk about...she said "i bet i won't sleep like it's christmas.' that'd be great for me... then she'll be passed out in the car all the way up tomorrow....lmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaoooooooo!
i love you mom and tell dad i love him too.
See you and dad and the beautiful lake and the loons and becca's black squirrels tomorrow. margo
