| Painted turtles are reptillian animals with olive colored shells and red spottes around the rim of the shell .It has a greenish dark shell with yellow stripes along its neck.There are two different types of Painted turtles, the Western painted turtle and the Eastern painted turtle.They are much alike in appearence and are about the same size. The only difference is that they live in different areas. |
