Planet Terror

Now, i have to say the story for Planet Terror is an average zombie movie. But the people are so stupid, there at a hospital with all these infected people walking around and acting as if it is normal. Then they firgure out that these people are attacking and they all flee. I have to say the acting was better than i thought it was going to be. It was just cheesy enough for me to handle. I thought they were going to do bad acting on purpose but it was okay. But overall, Planet Terror is great. I like how they put in "Reel Lost" at the places where you wanna watch then it cuts like 30 mins in the future. The ending to this i thought was un-needed it could have been easily another 5 minutes shorter but overall Planet Terror was great and alot of fun to watch. And the girl in the end getting a gun to replace her leg was classic.

I am going to give Planet Terror a 10/10

Death Proof

After watching Planet Terror i was hoping alot from this. And i wasn't satisfied, sure it was okay. But overall it wasn't that good. At least Planet Terror had some story (very loose story but it was still there) this, however, did not. I got lost between everything. But when the girl was actually going to give a lap dance it came up as "Reel Lost" everyone got mad in the theather lol, everything was building up to it then this happened. Everything in this part lacked. The only thing that brought it back up was the car chase. I guess it was all old school, no CGI. It was great. Overall, Death Proof wasn't the best but it was still pretty good (the car chase made give this a better rating).

I am going to give Death Proof a 8/10

Overall

These two movies put together with two fake trailers in between (with one at the beginning) makes one amazing movie. I have to say i thought i was going to be disapointed because my hopes were high but the movie came throught and pleased me. I have to say, it is a little long (3 hours 11 minutes) but i was okay with it. Near the end i really had to go to the bathroom but it wasn't like Return of the King. Basically, it is like actually watching 2 movies in one.

Grindhouse is worth every bit of it's 18A rating. I thought it was worse than 300, and i think it could've pussed a R rating here in Canada (NC-17 for you States kids). According to IMDb it is R in Manitoba, sucks to be you if you are under 18.

This is probably one of the best movies i have seen all year, next to 300 of course.

I am going to give Grindhouse a 9/10
