I like moves.

I do not enjoy children's movies or "chick flicks" as much although there is always an exception to that rule.

Musicals are rather boring but I do like to watch one here and there. Westerns are hard to watch but are good.

I like Fantasy, and Horror, Comedy and Conspiracy (x-file type themes) I will list my favorites later.

Comedies.

Jim Carrey and Adam Sandaler are OK, and I also like Rob Schneider and David Spade.

Old comics like Bill Murray, Steve Martin and Billy Crystal. (70's and 80's)

Dead Comics like Farley, Belushi, and Candy.

Not a huge fan of Eddie Murphy or Richard Prior but they are good. ( you don't need a lot of 4 letter words to make me laugh)

But I do like black comedy, I like Eddie Griffin, Dave Chappell, Jamie Foxx, Martin Lawrence and Chris Rock, but not so much Chris tucker or Marlon and Shawn Wayans, although the Keenan Ivory and Damon Wayans brothers were good for their time.

I also like Will Smith but I consider him an action star or rapper more than a comic.

Will Farrell was funny a few times and so was Molly Shannon. I also laugh sometimes when I see Catherine Zeta-Jones, Bette Midler or Reese Witherspoon but they are not really comedians and women just are not used that much for major comic roles in movies.

Horror. (non-slasher type)

The Ring was awesome. I also like Night of the Living Dead series and Evil Dead Series' Stephen King Movies are fun but usually dumb endings. But I have never read his books. I like Spooky stuff, and supernatural (Sixth Sense and Stir of Echoes) but not Freddie and Jason type slasher crap. Hellraiser and others of that type seem too evil for me, I do like movies with a little bit of that type of edginess. I could make a whole page of horror likes and dislikes.

Fantasy.

Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, The Beastmaster, Star Trek, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Jason and the Argonauts, Sinbad, Jurassic Park (excluding part 2), Clash of the Titans, Flash Gordon, they are numerous.

Conspiracy.

"Based on a true story" is what you hear a lot about this next category. I love to delve into the mysteries of the unknown and there are several movies that touch on these subjects. Ghost movies, Witchcraft, UFO, Aliens, Cryptozooology, Government Cover-ups, Legends and Myth.

more part of these fall into horror movies range but I thought I would note that there is a difference between Fiction and The Unknown.
