The Critter Page
Fair pic of my "corn snake. His nick is "Sneaky" !
Great colors, and very tame. Loves mice (pre-killed, of course) but the warmer they are, the harder he strikes and often will throw a coil or two around the prey like he did the kill. Instinct is just amazing.
"Sneaky" peeking out of his hiding spot, maybe hoping to find a little fuzzy mouse for dinner .....

Not tonight, sorry.
And now on a more serious note:
Here is a Black Widow (dead now) that was discovered by Lexie. The spider had set up home in a crevice on a utility trailer parked on the driveway. She had a nice big egg sack that she was guarding.
Lexie told me about it and I asked her to show me and there it was - dangerously close to home, to say the least. I told Lexie to always tell an adult about spiders like this one.
Sneaky checking me out - is it dinner time yet ???
Sleepy squirrel  chillin in my pecan tree.
One of a group of 10 or so Cedar Waxwings munching on berries in my back yard. This was the best of several pics I shot that day.
