This is an SS 'shutze' or rifleman, again fighting in Normandy. You must notice a trend with all these Normandy-bound SS guys right? Right! It's all part of my master plan..hehe...really they are part of Kampfgruppe Ramstein which is a project I'm working on to be included in a huge 4X8 ft diorama. It will depict fighting between US and SS elements with an average of 20-23 troops each. A HUGE undertaking to say the least! But I digress from the matter @ hand....so let's move ahead:

This is Siegfried as our SS rifleman. Here's the layout of the equipment list:

-Cotswold pea camo cap; this has been taken in a bit in the crown to make it fit better. I added the subdued SS insignia by print/iron/glue (PIG) technique.

-Grey service shirt comes from MDF "Fritz" from way back. Added the collar tabs are PIG. The sleeve eagle is also PIG.

-Belt order is MDF with the ubiquitos gasmask can repainted in a camo scheme. Though the gasmask was never used during the course of the war, most troops kept them to store extra ammo or food items.

-dot camo trousers are from MDF "Heinz" and are a pretty fair match to the cotswold cap.

Siegfried looks like a tough mother so he integrates well into the ranks of the SS.

-Wills-
