This is an interesting subject and was inspired by a photo found in the book German Army Uniforms of WW2. I'll place a link to this book as well as the section in question as soon as I add the book to the Reference section. But for now, let's examine our Armored Engineer Sergeant:

-Tunic by MDF's "Hermann" The only upgrade is the buttons being painted field green

-Gloves from "Volker"; belt order includes MDF holstered P38, MDF breadbag w/canteen, gasmask can, and two packs from the 21C Russian Spetznaz figure; these have been modified to resemble and be worn as the Engineer's Demolition pack used by the German Wehrmacht (and a highly sought after piece by collector's today)

-Aframe pack from Cotswold; the messkit is 21C, oakleaf zelt is also 21C; etool from MDF stored for quick access.

-Mess of stick grenades are from MDF; these are discernible by the later style fuse assembly being located on top of the fragmentation head rather than being strung through the handle of the grenade itself. The Tellermine 42 is from the MDF "anti tank weapons set no. 1"

-G43 rifle

-helmet painted in yellow ochre and brown ochre; this is faithful to the reference photo; SS shield is printed to mailing label, cut out, applied.

-Splinter pattern field cap from German sniper "Ernst"; here it's tucked into the belt in the casual order

-21C Italian mottled camo trousers; these look much better after being immersed in bleach for a bit but are nice regardless.
