| Here's an SS sniper as he would have been found in action in the Normandy "Bocage" or hedgerow country. Fellows such as this were a huge pain in the backside to the advancing Allied armies, as one sniper could hold up an entire section for indeterminite amounts of time whilst the scoundrel was driven to ground by the besieged Allies. Our man is outfitted with an Oak Leaf "A" Waffen SS smock here displaying it's predominate brown Autumn side. The only tidbits worth mention are the cap (Cotswold) and the insignia placed thereon as well as the camo eagle insignia on the sleeve. If you haven't figured the insignia out yet, no worries; I'll place the entire procedure from start to finish in the 'How To' section. -Wills- |
