| Here's my attempt at making a panzer crewman for my DAK army. A bit of heavy customizing was necessary to achieve what I thought he should look like! But it's nothing that requires any skills whatsoever. Here is the list of custom/standard items used: -21C cap repaint w/panzer pink soutache added -21C German trousers truncated and hemmed after bleaching and immersing in quick bath of RIT tan dye -Dragon (MDF) standard German army tunic, bleached to remove the grey/green color and dyed a nice shade of OD. The poor attempt at replacing the tropical breast eagle can be seen. This comes from the print/iron/glue school. Shoulder boards piped in panzer pink. -Addded the Obergefrieter chevrons to the left sleeve -21C goggle with blackend lens -MDF panzer mics and headset -MDF gloved hands repaint in OD color -MDF American ankle boots. -Belt made from leather w/the buckle being from the rear of standard MDF German trousers (the cinch strap in the rear). Anyhoo, a fun little piece though not the best ever accomplished but fair enough for my little army. Now all he needs is a tank to ride on ;) -Wills- |
