Final Approach
Review (10.21.01)

Centeral Jersey, from the roots of punk and emo, sprouted well-know bands Midtown, now deceased LWL, and Centless.  Mesa, Arizona gave birth to the four musicians of Jimmy Eat World.  And out of the hard times of mid September in 2001, grew a group that endured the sound created by the Arizona assembly and the talent of their neighboring New Jersey bands.

Final Approach existed in the back of Anthony, Ben, and John's minds since their early highschool careers.  Existing only in imagination for almost a year, Ben W. was a diehard concert buff averaging 1.5 concerts per week since his freshman year.  Anthony F. was affixiated with his first six string every day since he had acquired it late Senior year.  John had headphones on his head since the age of 5 when a photograph made such evidence.  The band had musical inclination beyond the initiation of their band.
They worked through indifferences and differences.  When they had started out of John's basement, expectations were set high.  Their talents came together to forming their future singles as well as their deafness to their accomplishment.  The band shared all similarities to any band that had been under conception in a garage.  They, too, had forgotten how to keep it enjoyable.  The possible demise: they went their separate ways.
Because of their affection of music, they had walked throught that difficulty.  Some time later come the winter season, the band found themselves putting it back together.  Friends since freshman year in highschool to lunchtime buddies during college, they found it to have the most charismatic talent of any musicians.  They each knew finding any way to make it happen would be quite possibly the most memorable accomplishment of their lives.  They saw it in each other that among them was diverse talent, to be put together, and to do so would be their dreams on playback.  And not just to do so with anyone, but among the ones who created the concept, felt the excitement of playing music, or who laid the band carpet.  "Any journey can be done by anyone.  The ones that do it with friends, and friends from the beginning, make the Final Approach."
