SEEZME'S COUNTRY KARAOKE PAGE
   My wonderful Hubby and daughters
(that's me with the groovy belt)
Hey there!  Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you like the squawking in the background, it's me.  No reverb/echo and no backing track.  Lots of folks use either pre-recorded music or make up complicated wav. files with all sorts of effects.  I decided to 'go naked' and use simply the mic and nothing else.  The song I am singing is called 'Grandpa' and was made famous by The Judds (I hope they forgive me for strangling it!).  I see one of Garth Brooks's songs has made it into our UK charts, "If Tomorrow Never Comes" was a huge hit for him.

My biggest gripe about being here in England is that there are no radio stations dedicated purely to country music.  I know there are 'slots' on various BBC bands, but wouldn't it be lovely to be able to hear all the latest country music hits (and some oldies) all day long?  The closest we got to having one was Country Music TV but that was taken off years ago.  Funny how the 'powers that be' decided to leave all the rap, house, and other music channels.  I know CMTV was hugely popular around here (Kent) so it couldn't have been the ratings!  If I am missing a station, LET ME KNOW! We do have the option of going to MSN.com and using their 'radio' service (see the link at the side). You can listen to songs and record them if you wish.

I have put a few links on this page to places where you can buy Karaoke CDG's or join in the fun 'LIVE' on air.  Check them out!

My own experiences of shipping times and charges have (so far) been good and I'll only mention the folks that have been prompt and reasonably priced.  If you have experiences (good or bad) of buying Country Karaoke CDG's, please share them in my guest book.
