My Bass Lick for the day

I like this one because it gives you a sense of security and then rips it away for the last measure. Just a half-step up, but it gives it a personality of its own.

We are nothing if we are alone.

While an individual may be able to make progress on their own, the real development is within a larger social structure. And while we can imagine ourselves as having a sophisticated and unique communal way of life, we're really not that far removed from prairie dogs or bumblebees. The only difference we have is the ability to mask our roles in society with a selfish veil of arrogance. But that only goes so far, for people seldom can better themselves without impacting others around them. So what am I saying? Simply put; We need each other.

And why am I saying it? Because sometimes I feel strangely alone.

Memorial Day Weekend. There's an oxymoron for you.

Considering the Holiday, I should probably say something stirringly patriotic. Without a doubt this IS the best place to live in the world, but I think its seldom that we realize this. Probably due to the fact that none of us ever get to spend time in a foreign country. (Canada doesn't count) So, I'm adding this to my ever-growing list of things to accomplish before I'm 30.

...Speaking of Which...

Survive College
Get a Fast Car
Go Camping
Go to California
Be in a Band
Make a CD
Get a Tattoo
Visit a Different Country
Swim

The Montanna Burger gets two thumbs up. i highly suggest it to any of my fellow Union Grovers. but keep in mind, you've got to be real hungry, or looking to save leftovers 'cause this bad-boy takes determination!

Now that my meal is out of the way, I can redirect my thoughts to the finer things in life. This evening that would be movies. So, here's gonna be a short list of some of my Favorite Movies...(in no particular order)

Jurassic Park
Being John Malkovich
American Beauty
Shawshank Redemption
Last of the Mohicans
The Count of Monte Cristo
The Matrix
What Dreams May Come
Rocky Horror Picture Show (at the Oriental!)
. . .
I know I'm forgetting a lot, so remind me in the GuestBook!

Today I'll post a million times, but who knows what the future may hold. After tonight this poor site could go neglected for weeks!

With Dinner approaching, I have to make a decision. The call-in Menu from Old Settlers is rather small, but I think I've decided on a Montana Burger. It contains; 1/2 pound of burger, egg, ham, lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese. I agree that it sounds repulsive, but it makes me feel like a risk-taker, thrill-seeker, and a bold connesour of exotic cousine...

Ya, I've seen too many commercials.

That was less Painful then I thought It'd be. Everything is up and running real smooth. But I suppose thats the case when there aren't a Billion picture files to upload.

Anyway, now that I've got GeoCities working in my favor, I'm going to avoid my computer screen for a little while and try to think up something profound. Or maybe just eat dinner.

Okay, so here goes nothing. This will be my attempt at a text-based web-page. You know I love flashy pictures and textured backgrounds, but maybe its time to focus more on what I'm writing rather than an animated LINK BAR.

I hope to re-incorporate some form of a guestbook, because whats the point of talking if the listeners/viewers can't reply. So, look for that in the near future. ( if I'm lucky, it may be a matter of hours )
