| Part 3 |
| "What?" Liz asked curiously. "Liz, did Claudia or Zan or Parker or Jackie ever have weird dreams that you and Max might have ever considered to be alien-related?" she said counting off all of her nieces and nephews of Max and Liz. "Actually, it's funny you mentioned it. Just last night Claudia and Zan shared a weird dream. They told Max and I this morning about it. Um, I think it was about... a ghost/man who was talking to Alex2. They couldn't hear anything, they just saw movements and lips moving as if they were talking. We thought it was strange but kinda assumed that one had dreamwalked the other and it was just a freaky dream. We came to that conclusion pretty quickly because it wasn't totally unexpected. You know that Claudia and Zan are strongest in their alien powers." Liz finished waiting for Isabel to explain. "OHMIGOD!" Isabel raised her voice. "What? What? What's wrong?" Liz panicked. "Alex2 had the same dream last night! He told me that he was talking to a ghost/man called Alex. He didn't see Zan or Claudia there though. Liz, I think Alex contacted him somehow." Isabel explained to her hurriedly. "Isabel, your not making any sense. Why would Alex2 contact himself in a dream?" Liz asked completely confused. "No Liz. I meant Alex Whitman contacted my son Alex2. I don't know how, I just... know." she said impatiently. Not wanting to hurt her husband's sister's feelings Liz replied gently. "Isabel, Alex died a long time ago. Why are you thinking of him now, after all these years?" "Liz, I'm not losing my mind. I'm positive that it was Alex. Just... let me prove it you." she pleaded. "Okay Isabel. Come over tonight with Jesse and Alex2 for dinner. We can talk about it then." Liz relented. "Thanks Liz. What time do you want us over?" "Is 6:00PM good?" "Great. See you then." Isabel said happily. "Okay...." Liz said but before Isabel could hang up the phone Liz stopped her. "WAIT!" "What?" Isabel asked, putting the phone back up to her ear. "Do you really believe that it was......Alex?" Liz asked hesitantly, refusing to get her hopes up. She lost Alex once and it was second most painful event that had ever happened to her. First was walking away from Max and the things she had to do to him afterwards. She wasn't going to let herself be crushed if this turned out to be a fluke. "I think so Liz. I really do believe so." she said completely sure of herself. The two women hang up the phone. Waiting for what was to happen next in their unpredictable, dangerous lives. |
