"So Colleen how come you've been ducking out of lunch lately?" Mary asked as we walked down the hallway.
"What do you mean." I asked shoving my books to the back of my locker. I pulled out my lunchbox.
"Colleen will you some on here for a moment?" Miss Towle requested. Mary shrugged and kept on walking.
Exasperated at my superior in more ways than one started making this like whine fest. "Miss Towle again, can't I just spend one lunch in the cafeteria?"
"Look, stay away from Miss Ball, she has a virus; and we can't wait just one more hour, before going in"
"Inside eww I don't have to study the human body 'til next year." I complained.
"No inside her mind, first we have to put her to sleep"
"We have to kill her?" I whimpered.
"NO SLEEP YOU KNOW LIKE YOU DO EVERY NIGHT!" She yelled getting mad.
"You know, no I am not doing this!" I glared into her eyes that flamed with rage. I, without thinking, took off as fast as I possibly could persuade my legs into going.
I ducked into the art room where a haggard Miss Connolly sipped a Styrofoam cup of, what appeared to be coffee. "You got to hide me, Miss Towle's looking for me and she's mighty steamed!" I sat Indian style on the floor right in front of the closed door.
Just then the door opened really fast and I moved quickly out of the way. "Where is she," Miss Towle screamed; she slammed the door shut revealing my hide away. "Let me tell you something, You are a witch there is nothing you can do about that we're a team and when a teammate is not well and is in danger of dying, we put our own personal whims aside while we help!" she glared down at me.
"Well, let me tell you something, I haven't been allowed any simple pleasures witch wise or otherwise. I get into fights with Nicki all the time, and get put down by Danielle. And you know what others do to help? Do you answer me that! They laugh at my pathetic crying! That has happened every week since about third grade, making my life miserable and no where's near fun!" I screamed back.
"I think a life is more important." She hollered relentlessly.
"Oh yes the superior witch always comes first."
"I've had it up to here with you, talking back, not only to your teacher but also your superior witch!" I guess that maybe I shouldn't have laughed at her when she said she could yell loud, yikes major earache.
"I just want to eat a normal lunch for once is that so hard to understand?" I softened my voice, and so did Miss Towle's face.
"You know I'm sorry I didn't think about that, you got a new anklet though didn't you? Let me see!" she asked politely. I lifted my left leg revealing a new silver anklet. "It's very pretty." She said just before grabbing my leg and toppling me over.
She opened the door and I clawed the ground, and tried to grab the corner of the wall. I frantically kicked and screamed; she didn't mind.
Our new aid Mrs. Pouliot gawked in awe as Miss Towle dragged me kicking and screaming towards the math room, who should appear in the cafeteria doorway, Mary. She brought me into the room and dropped my legs to the floor.
"I say jolly good show." Mrs. Whall clapped from a desk in the corner, I turned and glared; she didn't notice. Miss Towle seemed to have cooled down considerably.
She waved her wand, "Shellie check to see if it's frozen." Miss Towle ordered. Miss Jackman opened the door peered out looked both ways and gave the thumbs up sign. "Well as was saying"
"Colleen?" Came MARYS'S voice from the hallway. Miss Towle got startled tripped on the hem of her skirt and in an attempt not too fall grabbed Mrs. Pipitone and they both fell. Miss Connolly who'd been bending down to pick something up, stood up and butted me into Mrs. Whall who'd been holding a stack of books dropped them on Miss Jackman who squealed.
Mary looked at us with a scared rabbit look on her face and turned to flee. Mrs. Pipitone whipped out her wand and stopped her. She made her rise up into the air and she smacked her head on the ceiling.
"Su- Uh Mrs. Pipitone be careful with her." Mrs. Whall scolded. As she started picking up her books she only had three but they were really large books. Miss Jackman was still rubbing her head
"Sorry, bad aim." Mrs. Pipitone shrugged which made Mary bounce around a bit. "I just pulled up too fast I guess." She twirled around in time to see Mary bump into Mr. Gough's door.
"Do you need a dictionary, perhaps?" Mrs. Whall asked her.
"Now why would you ask a stupid question like 'do you need a dictionary'?" Mrs. Pipitone turned around again and Mary slid across the ceiling and stopped abruptly when she bumped into the light fixture.
"Because I think you're a bit unclear as to what careful means." Mrs. Whall picked one up from the shelf. She held it out as if to offer it to Mrs. Pipitone. Mrs. Pipitone hit it away, unfortunately for Mary that was the hand with the wand.
"Mrs. Whall leave her alone, and Mrs. Pipitone, don't move." Miss Towle instructed, she was not at all in the mood for them and I, let alone what happened next.
"What are you doing?" Miss Connolly spurted. We all turned our direction to the door where Miss Ball appeared.
*SNEEZE* she blew her nose, "What is going on?" she had a bad stuffy nose.
"Get out of here, what are you doing?" Miss Connolly answered quickly.
"You can't talk to me like that. *SNIFF* Miss Towle?" She started.
Miss Towle picked up where Miss Ball left off. "You should stay in there 'til we're ready for you, you don't want us to catch it do you?"
"No." she said reluctantly and left again.
"Nowlet her down gently" Miss Towle instructed, "please, be careful." Mrs. Pipitone started letting her down, very slowly. Mary was starting to go into a standing position. The Miss Ball opened the door again and Mrs. Pipitone got startled and threw Mary into a group of desks.
Miss Towle took two deep breaths and looked at Miss Ball, "WHAT?" Miss Ball looked scared.
"A-a-are you r-ready y-yet?" Miss Ball stammered, stunned.
"NO!" Miss Towle screamed. Miss Ball hurried away apparently scared out of her wits. She turned quickly to Mary, I was helping her up. Immediately we cowered. Then she moved her stare to Mrs. Whall and Mrs. Pipitone. Mrs. Whall was reading one of her books. Miss Towle stretched out her arm and threw it behind her quickly. The book flew into the board.
Mrs. Whall looked up and her and Mrs. Pipitone exchanged nervous glances. When Miss Towle looked to Miss Jackman and Miss Connolly, they had turned away so as not to have to endure the 'look'.
Miss Towle sighed and softened her glare, "I'm sorry. Now everyone get in a circle back-to-back of course." Mary was slowly walking toward the door. "You too Mary, I'm not gonna leave you here."
I pulled Mary next to me. She was shaking and her arms were bumpy with goosebumps. I held my wand in my right hand and held Mary's arm with the other. I closed my eyes as I was told I should earlier.
A strange pulling sensation overtook me and I separated, a bit afraid to open my eyes I kept them clenched shut. A few seconds later I went flying and landed in a pile of leaves. I had to spit a few out; I stood up and brushed myself off. I didn't see Mrs. Pipitone, Miss Jackman, or Mrs. Whall. I looked over and saw a couple feet Miss Towle to my left. Miss Connolly was to my right separated by at least four yards.
I almost missed seeing Mary, her pants were brown corduroy and her shirt was green, she blended in. It was terribly gloomy in wherever it was we were. The chilling wind sent shivers down my back. I was wearing my dark indigo baggy jeans and a three-quarter of the length sleeved red shirt.
My arms were cold; looking at Miss Towle made me feel even colder. She was wearing a skirt that barely reached her knees and a short sleeved shirt. Miss Connolly however, was wearing a large sweatshirt and what looked like very warm pants.
"Are you O.K.?" I asked Miss Towle because she was rubbing her head. She shook her head, and then she was wearing a sweatshirt that fit rather snug and snug white jeans.
"I'm fine, just next time I'd prefer to land on something softer than a rock. Are you O.K.?" she asked looking at the puzzled look on my face.
"How'd you do that?" I asked looking her up and down.
"Shake your head and picture something you want to wear." She explained changing into a dress and back to the warm stuff. I shook my head and she said, "Something a bit cooler than a snowsuit.
"O.K." I shook my head and got very cold. I looked down at what I was wearing and I was wearing a bathing suit.
"Not quite." Miss Towle giggled. I shook my head and I wore a light blue and pink sweater that had a cat on it, and the same indigo pants. "Better." By this time Miss Connolly and Mary were standing by us.
"Are you ready?" Miss Connolly asked us. Miss Towle and I nodded.
Mary leaned toward me, "Where are we?"
"We're in Miss Ball's subconscious mind, she has a virus and we have to fix it." I explained as I followed after Miss Connolly. Mary finally came bringing up the rear.
Miss Connolly wasn't really paying attention to where she was going; she was fiddling around with her wand. I was talking with Mary and we weren't paying attention. Miss Towle had apparently stopped, because Miss Connolly bumped into her and I bumped into Miss Connolly and the process repeated with Mary.
Miss Towle stood looking forward puzzled. Miss Connolly spoke up, "What is it whoa."
"What are you talking ab-." I started and noticed that we walked onto a beach with a rainbow and golden sun. I looked back and Mary's mouth hung agape, but past her I could see the cemetery scenery.
Miss Towle had changed into a tank top and shorts. Miss Connolly was wearing short shorts and a T-shirt. I shook my head and wore a pair of cut-offs and a tankini top, with a pair of sunglasses.
"You know, you guys are really freaking me out!" Mary told us. She backed away slowly. I took out my wand and changed Mary into a snowsuit.
"Leave her be." Miss Towle instructed, taking out her wand in turn.
I whispered in Miss Towle's ear, "Bell-bottoms. Sweater." She waved her wand and sure enough Mary was wearing bell-bottoms and a sweater. By now she began to sweat.
"Oh Colleen." Miss Connolly scolded and had her wear pink shorts and a yellow polka dotted, green shirt.
"Ew. You have a worst sense of Color than my Dad and he thinks robins egg blue and fluorescent orange go together."  I proclaimed.
"You guys, we're on a beach. Aren't we?" Miss Towle asked kind of dazed.
"Yeah." I turned to her and said, "Are you O.K.? It was from when you hit your head on the rock isn't it?"
"No, this beach is missing something like water and life" She turned around in circles several times.
"Yes, it would appear Miss Ball's mind is playing tricks on us." Miss Connolly came to stand next to her. "Look there's Mrs. Pipitone."
"I don't see anyone." I told her looking in all directions.
"Mrs. Pipitone, it's so good to see you where's everyone else?" Miss Connolly began talking to no one. She was beginning to worry me.
"Who is she talking to?" Miss Towle came to join Mary and I. I shrugged and resumed watching with puzzlement.
Miss Towle put her hands on the ground (palms down), with her fingers toward he feet. She pushed them toward nothingness. There was a great rumbling noise and a huge tidal wave swept over the four of us.
I held my breath as I was swept under I opened my eyes and I saw Mary swimming frantically toward the surface. I turned and Miss Towle was swimming to the bottom, she had dropped her wand, which was sinking fast. I couldn't see Miss Connolly I got worried.
I was losing my breath and swam to the surface; I gasped for air. Well the ocean was back, but Miss Connolly. Miss Towle came up also gasping for air. I had lost my sunglasses and my shorts were riding up on me.
"Where's Miss Connolly?" Miss Towle said frantically looking around. Then I saw her, she was lying in the water on her stomach, and we all swam over to her. Then she flipped over.
"Dead man's float." She said now on her back, "back stroke" she backstroked away. We exchanged puzzled glances. I swam over to an island where Miss Towle had already climbed up on. It was very small and it had a big palm tree in the middle.
"Coconut?" Miss Towle asked she pulled one down from the tree. She held out an unevenly cut half of a coconut.
"No thank you." I told her. She sat the half she offered me down on the sand and drank from the other one like a cup. She had a milk mustache I giggled and wiped my mouth to tell her.
She reached up and wiped her mouth. We were very wet, but the sun was drying us quickly. "Where's everyone else?" Mary asked finally coming out of shock.
"They're in a different part of her mind, we're in the subconscious dream part, they could be in, conscious conduct or, they could be in the part that does all the remembering. Or they could be split up in either." Miss Towle said while helping Miss Connolly up on the island.
"How do we get from, here to there?" I asked wondering if I'd ever see the others again or indeed ever get out of here.
"It's in the middle if we go that way for a long time." She pointed in a direction. "Or is it that way?" she moved her finger.
"Oh well, if we keep going in any given direction we'll either come to a different part of her brain or a dead end." Miss Connolly explained, finally herself coming out of a hallucination state.
"How will we delete this virus?" I pondered a while trying to come up with my own explanation, but realizing I wouldn't I asked anyway.
"Kill it." Miss Towle said finally. "Just kill it."
"It?" Mary picked up my half of the coconut. "It's and it?"
"What?" I turned to her.
"Huh?" She replied.
"What are you talking about?"
"I don't know."
"Then why'd ya ask?"
"I didn't know."
"Didn't know what?"
"I don't know, that's why I asked."
"Stop, you guys are freaking me out now." Miss Connolly insisted. We sat there silently for a moment, the small waves lapping on the sand. It was very nice here.
"You know what I wish?" I said after what seemed like hours. "I wish I had my broom"
"Well use your wand you can get it." Miss Connolly sipped a coconut as well.
"Miss Connolly?" Miss Towle asked. "Could you get me one of those coconuts?" Miss Connolly reached up and grabbed two. She handed them to Miss Towle.
Miss Towle took out her wand and said to me, "Which broom is yours?" I thought about it.
"The one with the thick branch handle and twig bristles." She took out her wand and turned the coconut into a broom. "My broom!" I exclaimed as I picked it up. I hugged it.
"Miss Connolly which broom is yours?" she asked preparing to turn the next coconut, into Miss Connolly's broom.
"Thick oak handle, and very thin natural bristles." And she had her broom too. That's amazing I thought. Miss Towle took down two more coconuts and turned one into her broom. Her's is beautiful; it is stained cedar handle, with smooth plastic bristle that looks like small twigs.
Then she thought for a moment. And turned the last coconut into an orange one with plastic looking orange bristles. "Yuck." I said under my breath.
You sit on it." Miss Towle had already started to explain how to use a broom. I in the mean time kicked off. I love the way the wind rushes past me. Then I heard Miss Connolly yell to me.
"COME BACK!" I pulled up on the front of my broom and landed gently down. "Nice landing."
"Thanks." Gee what's the point of having my broom if I couldn't ride it? "Why do I have my broom if I can't ride?" There was a deep rumbling noise and a huge mountain sprouted from the ocean.
We stood and watched stunned. All of a sudden it erupted with lava. "GO!" Shouted Miss Towle as she kicked off. I kicked off to and Miss Connolly and Mary followed. I didn't dare look back because it could be right behind me.
I had the fastest broom, something about it's age I guess. So I zoomed ahead of Miss Towle and kept going. I assumed that Miss Towle wasn't far behind me. I didn't spin or anything fancy like last time. I had to see if everyone was O.K. so I looked behind, me the lava was still spilling out.
"Colleen!" Mary shouted to me. I pulled up the front of my broom just before I rammed into a wall. I curve and flew the other way. The lava had stopped flowing and was settling now.
We just kept going in the direction away from the lava and the island. Finally we got to a place that looked like circuitry. "Memory." Miss Towle announced.
"Now to find other people." By that time we had all gotten off our brooms and were walking around. Pretty soon we couldn't even see the ocean anymore.
"Wait." I shouted. "What's that?" I pointed to something heaped down on the ground. We rushed over.
"Oh my gosh." Mary exclaimed, "It's Miss Jackman! Is she"
"Dead?" I finished for Mary.
"I don't think so." She put her ear in front of her mouth, "She's still breathing!" I let my breath out. She sat up rubbed her eyes and looked at us.
"What are you doing in my bedroom?" she asked still not really opening her eyes.
"We're not in your bedroom." Miss Connolly told her.
"Thank heavens." Mary whispered under her breath though I was the only one who heard her.
"Oh, I must have fallen asleep." She rubbed her eyes again. "I'm sorry."
"Are you the only one here?" Miss Towle asked, looking around. "I don't see any one else."
"Yeah. I am the only one in the memory cavern." She stood up, looked down at my broom. "Why do you have your brooms?"
"We had to make a quick getaway from the lava." Mary said enthusiastically. "Zoom, whoosh psshhhh. And the tidal wave, and the coconuts"
"Right." Miss Jackman picked up her coat which she had, had draped over her when she was asleep.
"Conscious mind ho!" I pointed forward, in the opposite direction of where we had come from. We started walking, in no particular direction we had to detour around wires that stuck up.
"Wait, I have an idea." Miss Jackman proclaimed. "The magnet spell."
"Of course, that's a wonderful idea. The magnet spell." Miss Connolly smiled and jumped around a bit. "Why didn't we think of that?"
"O.K. hold on I'll throw it." Miss Towle said and closed her eyes with her hand cup and outstretched. A blue swirling ball materialized in her hand. She turned her hand around and threw it as hard as she could.
She had remnants of the blue stuff on her hand and she rubbed her hands together. She walked over to me and rubbed it on my shoulders. "Hey!" I protested.
"Mount your broom, and don't kick off." She instructed me as I followed her directions. "Now hold on tight to the broom and, GO!" She pushed the back of my broom and it shot away.
It pulled me very hard I held on tight to the front end of the broom. My feet no long beneath me rose up and just stayed there. There was no longer circuitry and there was a park. Off in the distance I saw to figures, I knew were Mrs. Pipitone and Mrs. Whall.
I got about an inch away from them and fell into the grass. I spit out a mouthful of dirt and grass. I saw a beetle crawling up my leg I knocked it away and screamed. "What a nice place." I said walking forward. I saw a baseball field. I shook my head and wore a Boston red sox uniform. "Play ball!"
"I don't mean to be rude but, where'd you come from?" Mrs. Whall asked picking up my broom and handing it to me.
"Well if you don't know that then" I looked away, then back again. She rolled her eyes at me.
"No I mean where'd did you come from just now." Mrs. Whall was apparently getting a bit annoyed.
"Oh, memory." I told her as we heard a whizzing noise. I looked over and Miss Jackman was holding onto Miss Connolly's waist the broom was going at an alarming rate. They got an inch from my shoulder and dropped. Mary and Miss Towle then repeated the process.
"Gee, it sure took you guys long enough." Mrs. Pipitone put her hands on her hips, picking up a bag she had brought.
"Well we found you, it looks like you made little effort to find us " Miss Towle pointed out.
"Well" Mrs. Pipitone started.
"God forbid, Mrs. Pipitone and Mrs. Whall would make an effort at anything, that doesn't have anything to do with works of literature." I spurted, a bit louder than I had intended.
"Do you want to take this outside." Mrs. Pipitone came closer and looked me in the face.
"We areoutside." Mary put her hand on Mrs. Pipitone's shoulder. Mrs. Pipitone pulled away from Mary.
"Then we'll take it inside." I narrowed my eyes at her and Miss Towle cut in.
"Stop." She said calmly stepping between the two of us, though facing me. "Settle your differences later."
"Whatever." I pulled away, thankfully though trying not to show it. Mrs. Pipitone knows more spells than I do and there is no end to what she could've done to me.
"Well, shall we?" Miss Jackman asked started off in a random direction. We all sort of fell into a line. Miss Towle in the front, then I, Miss Jackman, Miss Connolly, Mary, Mrs. Whall, and Mrs. Pipitone bringing up the rear.
"Where are we going?" was a question Mary frequently asked, though no one ever answered. I was just about to faint from exhaustion and lack of food, when we saw a tree house. It was supported by a large weeping willow tree near an ocean a park, and circuitry.
"Is it. Is that?" I asked pointing to the tree house. I squinted my eyes to get a better view of the structure. It had a door in the front, and two side windows. It appeared to be constructed of bamboo.
"Yes." Miss Towle seemed confused. "It should be different than that. Well before we go, would someone like anything to eat?"
"Yes." Mary whined she put her hand on her stomach.
"Oh yes you're wasting away aren't you?" Mrs. Pipitone said sarcastically. Miss Jackman who was facing away curled her lip.
"Blah, blah, blah." Miss Jackman chanted, and Mrs. Pipitone rolled her eyes. Miss Towle waved her wand (POOF!!!) a huge table of fruits and vegetables.
"Vegetables?" Mary whined picking up a celery stick. I on the other hand picked up a bowl of succulent looking pineapple. Mary noticed and went to grab some.
I jerked away, "My pineapple!" while I jerked away Miss Jackman pulled one out of the bowl, and she popped it into her mouth. "Touch"
I finished my pineapple, and reached for a bunch of grapes. "I've never seen a thirteen year old take to a table of fruits and vegetables." I heard Mrs. Pipitone whisper that to Miss Towle, though I did nothing to act upon it.
I reached for a plate full of sliced pieces of my favorite vegetable, yellow peppers. Then I noticed the watermelon, honeydew, and cantaloupe. By this time, everyone else had begun to eat, no longer fascinated by my love for fruits and veggies.
I had finished with my cantaloupe and I looked over and saw the curtain being drawn, a gigantic hand pulled it. It caught sight of me and quickly let go of the curtain.
"I saw it." I shouted enthusiastically, "I saw it peek out of the window over there!"
"O.K. is everyone done? Let's move out." Miss Towle told us and with another wave of her wand all the food was gone. Miss Jackman was biting down on a carrot, when they disappeared, and she chomps down.
She whimpers and held her two front teeth, "I think I broke my teeth."
"Come on." Miss Towle persuaded. She started, we all left our brooms, a couple even took off their earrings watches and rings. The only thing we took with us was the large back Mrs. Pipitone had and we left it at the base of the tree.
Mrs. Pipitone pulled out her spoon that was about five feet long. Mary and gaped at the bag. "What the how did you do that?" I motioned to the spoon.
"Oh this." Mrs. Pipitone began, "It's a Narplistic bag. They used one in Mary Poppins, thank goodness every one thought they were fiction, though."
"O.K., O.K. lets go." Miss Connolly said. Starting up the tree ladder. She got all the way to the porch before Miss Towle spoke.
"We have to divide up, Miss Jackman, you Mary and Mrs. Pipitone will stay here and make the potion. Miss Connolly Mrs. Whall and Colleen, and myself, will go in and destroy it. Come on you two." She motioned to us, as we climbed up the ladder and joined Miss Connolly on the porch.
Miss Towle carefully pushed open the door, which fell of its hinges, and made lots of noise. "Miss Towle?" I whispered to her with my teeth clenched, shut. The 'it' stomped toward us.
Miss Towle laughed nervously. She cowered; the 'it' picked her up from the waist. "Say you prayers, witch." 'It' had a deep booming voice. Miss Towle closed her eyes put her hands together and mouthed words. He pulled his hands back, and threw her through theshut window; she screamed all the way.
"One down three to go." I said not taking my eyes off the 'it'.
"It's not so tough." Miss Connolly whispered, though she didn't mean it; I could tell by the break in the middle of the sentence.
"There's a whole in the roof. Look." She looked up and he repositioned his foot onto a loose board. I traced it back to where Miss Connolly stood.
"I don't see a whole." Miss Connolly stated looking up still. The 'it' lifted his foot and brought it down real hard. Miss Connolly smashed through the roof.
He laughed foolishly, "That wasn't very nice! You know you should read a book I have on etiquette." She went over and bent down to Mrs. Pipitone. "Sue?"
"Yeah?" she called back.
"Do you have the book on etiquette?" she called. I heard some noises and Miss Jackman cursed.
"And this" he pushed her out the door with his foot. "Isn't nice either."
I laughed hard. "It's about time some one spoke up to her, that was really funny! Wait" I stopped. "I'm next aren't I?"
"No, I like you." He flopped down in a huge chair in the corner. The broken glass seemed to not hurt his feet at all.
"Not that I'm complaining but. Why?" I asked sitting in a chair I whipped up with my wand.
"You're amusing." He threw a ball at me when I wasn't looking, it hit me in the head. Luckily for me it was foam. He laughed; "See that was amusing."
I heard a scream but it seemed to be coming from above us it also seemed to be getting closer. Miss Connolly crashed through more of the roof, and landed on the floor; dazed. She looked up rubbing her head. "O.K. now I see the whole."
We laughed. "It's not funny" Miss Connolly whimpered.
I got down on the floor next to Miss Connolly, helping her up. "But you've got to admit, it was pretty hilarious!" I still laughed.
"No it isn't funny." Miss Connolly got up by herself.
"Well gee, you don't have to get sore about it!" I insisted.
"Yes, I do."
A very beat up battered Miss Towle showed up at the door. "Stop, I can't stand arguing."
"Keep arguing." Miss Towle ordered. The 'it' stomped toward her, "It's the only way to destroy him, don't stop arguing."
"You know what's next don't you?" the 'it' asked her. She put her arms out and the 'it' picked her up by the waist and dropped her straight down off the porch.
"You took my wand." I shouted at Miss Connolly coming up with an idea.
She looked confused. "No I didn't."
"Well what do you call that?" I pointed to the wand in her hand that was hers.
"That's" she caught on. "So what if I took your wand, you don't know how to do anything with it."
"Is that so?" I stood up.
"That's so!" She stood up and looked down at me, it wasn't far down though.
"Well" I forgot what I was going to say.
"Well what?" she put her hands on her hips.
"Well...uh you're not good at anything."
The 'it' put his hands on his ears where smoke came out. "Ah, arguing and bad insults."
Miss Towle's hand groped for the porch, her other hand next to it, weakly pulled up to her chin. She put her elbows on the porch, "Way to go, he should disintegrate soon." No sooner had she said that than he disappeared.
We made our way down and helped Miss Towle down the ladder too. "She needs some bistance." Miss Jackman pointed out pouring some of the liquid into Miss Towle's mouth. Almost immediately she regained all of her senses and she was completely unbruised.
"Ok. What is bistance?" I asked holding up a vile of it.
"It's a substance made of two different potions, it's not in the book I accidentally combined the paralyzing potion with the sunshine potion, and came up with a restorer." Miss Jackman explained.
"Well how do we get out of here?" Mary asked.
Miss Towle quickly answered the question. "Same way we got here." So everybody got into a circle back to back.
Later that day Miss Ball was sitting down in her chair the rest of us stood. Mary was fiddling with her new wand, we made it earlier so she could to witch stuff, she's the trainee witch now and pretty soon I'll be a full witch.
After a long silence Miss Ball spoke up. "I've gotta know what does the inside of my head look like?"
Mary piped up, "A volcano."
Miss Jackman said, "Circuitry."
Mrs. Pipitone answered, "A park." (All simultaneously)
"Well which one is it?" She asked Miss Towle specifically.
She pondered for a quick second then replied, "An Ocean."
"Nevermind." Miss Ball announced, "I'm sorry I asked."
