After studying economics in university and working in the business world, Andrew graduated from Fuller Seminary in 1992 (M.Div. with concentration in Cross-cultural Studies). While at Fuller he met his wife, Teri, and they share a passion for cross-cultural ministry. Andrew was ordained in the PC(USA) soon after graduating from Fuller, and he served as an associate minister for evangelism and mission at a local church in Dallas, TX. After their years in Dallas, Andrew and his family served as missionaries in Central Asia for nine years through the PC(USA). In 2006 he and his family returned to the US and Andrew is now leading the strategic alliance between Presbyterian Frontier Fellowship and The Outreach Foundation called The Antioch Partners (TAP). TAP is a missionary-sending ministry committed to expanding long-term, cross-cultural ministry opportunities for Presbyterians. TAP partners with local churches in the recruiting, training, sending and supporting of long-term missionaries. Though TAP is still in the start-up phase, the first missionaries are now serving through TAP. Andrew and Teri have three children: Rebekah (15), Matthew (12) and Gabrielle (7).
The Antioch Partners: Expanding long-term, cross-cultural mission opportunities for Presbyterians
God is doing amazing things in the world today, and God is calling every Presbyterian congregation to participate in his mission in new ways. The Antioch Partners (TAP) is a newly created missionary-sending ministry expanding long-term, cross-cultural mission service opportunities for Presbyterians. We are excited about the vital, strategic role Wee Kirks can play in identifying, equipping, sending and supporting long-term missionaries. Come learn how TAP can serve your church as you live out Christ's command in Acts 1:8!
