Jewel

My favorite singer is Jewel Kilcher. She was born May 23rd, 1974 in Payson, Utah. She grew up in Homer, Alaska. Jewel has an older brother, Shane, and a younger brother, Atz jr. Jewel was home schooled, which was probably ideal because she was later informed that she was dyslexic. Jewel started touring with her father Atz around age six, singing folk music in bars and clubs throughout Alaska.
