Abraham Jackson 1806

Born 1806 - Messingham or Yaddlethorpe, Lincs
He was the son of Abraham Jackson and Jane Parkinson.
He married Maria Popple – Born 1814

On the 1851 Census they were living at 60 Fish Pond Lane, Messingham and on the 1861 Census their address was 67 Chapel Lane Messingham.

He was an agricultural labourer.

His children were:

v     George

1844-1906

v     Sarah

1847

v     Thomas

1849

v     Terezah

v     Edith

Sarah and George do not appear on the 1861 Census. We know George was still alive and assume he was working at Laughton, but do not know what happened to Sarah. Was she in service, or did she die?

Ann Popple, listed as a widow of 82 – Pauper, born South Kelsey, was also living with them on the 1861 Census, maybe she was maria’s Mother?
