Personality: The leader of the 17th unit. He is ranked B because he dislikes combat, but he actually has ferocious fighting ability. X is a kind hearted Reploid.

History: Created by Dr. Theodore Light as the first Reploid. Although, Dr. Light created X, he did not live to see the day when X was taken out of his capsule by Dr. Cain atleast thirty years after being created. X needed to remain in his capsule for atleast thirty years because he needed to be analized to where he was safe and did not break the number one rule of robotics, "A machine must never harm a human." Not only was X kind and intelligent, but also able to think and feel just like a human. Dr. Cain decided to try and duplicate X, despite how everyone else thought that modern science could never do such a thing. Dr. Cain succeeded. A few years later, Reploids started malfunctioning and attacking innocent people. These were called Mavericks. The cause of them was a virus called the Maverick virus. X felt that he needed to do something about the Maverick virus, thus he became a Maverick Hunter. X has a kind and gentle heart, but also had the ability to cause chaos. He used this ability as a Maverick Hunter.
Has killed sigma many times and is famous for that attribute. he has Given control of MHA to 8000, but that does not make him any less powerful. not only does he have to fight, he has to put up with something even worse: Ten Ten :). he has recently received an pugrade from 8000 to allow him to use the Z saber as well as Zero.
Weapon of Choice: X buster , along with weapons he gets from mavericks he defeats, Z-saber (ex. firefly laser from izzy glow.)
