Vision and Philosophy

I am Maureen Ann Voss. I smile a lot because I know that there is no place that God is not. Because God’s divine intelligence, or infinite energy of love, is in everything, including me, I am connected to everything in the Universe, and my human burdens are bearable. I see each human being as a great miracle of God. This allows me to act in ways that are accepting, caring, compassionate, courageous, creative, empathic, enthusiastic, faithful, forgiving, giving, insightful, open-minded, patient, proactive, respectful, spiritual, thankful, tolerant, and truthful when dealing with myself, others, and the world around me.

I maintain my Spirit’s dwelling place by eating, drinking, exercising, acting in healthy ways, and by having a positive attitude.

My inner light, which is my Spirit, shines for all to see in such a way that others are positively influenced to learn how to let their inner light shine.

I let my inner light shine by sharing my talents of empathic listening, flute and piccolo playing, leadership, problem solving, and speaking truthfully from my heart. I use my talents to have a job where I can be of service to people as well as earn enough to support my family unit and donate to service-related causes that are in line with my values.

I have excellent relationships with my husband, children and other people. I accept my husband exactly as he is because he is exactly as he is supposed to be. My children understand their spiritual nature, have high self-esteem, and value developing and sharing their talents to be of service to others. I enjoy socializing and visiting with people. I understand and accept that everything, including me, is exactly as it should be at the current time, and that change is constant and inevitable.

Mission

My mission is to work at living my vision, which stems directly from my values and beliefs.

Values

First and foremost, I value life itself and the Spirit within that life.

I also value:

Having a purpose in life and knowing that purpose;
Peace of mind, spiritual fulfillment, and happiness;
Keeping my word to myself and to others;
Personal growth, including learning and the development of talents;
Courage and effort in all of life’s undertakings;
Hard work, leading to a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of productivity;
Being able to contribute and serve humanity in some generous way;
Sincere, truthful, and loving relationships with family, friends and co-workers; and
The diversity in the universe and the respect of that diversity.

Beliefs

I believe in the following self-evident, fundamental, natural laws of the human dimension. I believe these laws cannot be broken, and that people who try to break them will themselves become broken and disconnected from their Spirit.

Empowerment
Fairness
Human Dignity
Human Potential and Growth
Humility and Patience
Integrity, Honesty, and Trustworthiness
Love
Quality and Excellence
Service

I also believe that when my Spirit leaves its human dwelling place upon physical death, it rejoins God in the spiritual realm of existence.
