This is Darryl(and his cat, Mr. Fluffybottoms), the bassist for MAULSTROM. I've been playing bass for 12
years now, and is a true asset to the band. My unique reggea and jazz influenced style of playing bring
a "Sting and the Police" sort of sound to the band. I started playing when I joined Collaboratica,
a fast and furious lounge band. Collaboratica played a total of 96 places around town and was truly a
smack in the face to music critics everywhere. Critics said that no matter how hard they tried they would
never get anywhere, and of course, they didn't.
When Collaboratica added members Micheal Macks and Brian Bell, Darryl thought hell had been unleashed upon the
puny planet and almost gave up on life. Richard reassured him that all would be well, and Darryl learned to accept
Brian and Micheal, and the world was a better place
My influences are Metallica, black sabbath, Ozzy osbourne, Harlans, and blue man group. I also like bike riding long
jogs on the beach and i love playing the bass cause first of allit has.........................

bass. I met Richard when we were little (2002) and we are still friends, i met brian when i was not in nam
man was that raw . Iam a caring person who just enjoys Rock, polka,and gangsta rap. Some of the band members
can't handle the life of a rock star, but i can tell you who isn't Richard, mike, clint, and me. I think what
we play will have a positive impact on rock culture but the only thing i say to people who can't handle this
"SUCK IT!" "BITCH".but if you like our stuff then i might let you backstage and hangout and I gaurantee
that you will have fun we all are a fun band.
