Dragons are winged, reptile-like creatures of ancient lineage that are feared for their power and sheer size. Minotaurs are half-bull, half-man; monsters that are as ferocious as they are fearsome. When they breed, they create the most destructive force in the world: the Tauren-Dragons.

These creatures are extremely territorial and covetous. They often have hoards of wealth that rival many Dragons, and they will defend these hoards with their lives. They love to toy with and torture their prey, especially when they were caught trespassing.

These monstrosities can grow to be 35 ft. tall and weigh upwards of 4,000 pounds. They have the overall body of a Minotaur, combined with various Dragon elements. For starters, they sport reptilian scales under their shaggy fur, which is much sparser than the Minotaur: though it is still thick on their stomach, feet and head. Great wings sprout from their middle back. Their head is shaped more like a Dragon's snout with long, sharp teeth and the horns of a Black Dragon and a Minotaur. Lastly, the Black Tauren-Dragon has a long tail tipped with a stinger-like point.

Black Tauren-Dragons are rarely found in groups. Those that are most commonly found in groups are those that have been intimidated by another to do its bidding; sort of like body guards. Young ones are raised for only a few months before being left to fend for themselves. They have a special liking to any who are of Dragon-blood or Minotaur-blood. This means only that they will not kill these creatures if it can be helped, or unless they were trespassing.

Black Tauren-Dragons speak Draconic and Giant.

COMBAT

Black Tauren-Dragons charge at the start of battle, using their 4 great horns to devastating effect. Then they use their powerful arms, wings, and tail to slash, smash, and smack their foes into submission. They are relentless in battle, only retreating when their death is sure.

Attack Limit: Though this beast has a wide range of attacks, it can only use 3 of them in a given round. It can make a bite attack, 2 claws OR 2 wings, and then a tail slap OR gore attack. Also, Tauren-Dragons DON'T have the following Dragon abilities: spells, spell-like abilities, and spell resistance.

Breath Weapon (Su): A Black Tauren-Dragon has one type of breath weapon, a line of acid. It's 80 ft. long, and deals 12d4 damage with a Ref save (DC 23) for half damage.

Charge (Ex): Black Tauren-Dragons love to start battle with a lumbering charge, lowering its head to bring its 4 fearsome horns into play. In addition to the normal benefits and hazards of a normal charge, this allows the beast to make a single gore attack that deals 4d8+14 points of damage.

Frightful Presence: Works as a Dragon's, with 2 exceptions; 1) also whenever the Tauren-Dragon is within 30 feet regardless, and 2) ignores Frightful Presence of all Dragons and Tauren-Dragons.

Natural Cunning (Ex): Although Tauren-Dragons are not especially intelligent, they do possess innate cunning and logical ability. This makes them immune to maze spells, prevents them from ever becoming lost, and enables them to track enemies. Further, they are never caught flat-footed.

Roar: Works as Dragonne's roar, and is not affected by the roar of Dragonnes or Tauren-Dragons.

Skills: Black Tauren-Dragons have the Climb skill for free at 1 rank per Hit Die. Also, they have a +4 to Search, Spot, and Listen checks.

Tremorsense (Ex): Black Tauren-Dragons can automatically sense the location of anything within 60 ft. that is in contact with the ground (when it itself is on or under the ground).

Water Breathing (Ex): The Tauren-Dragon can breathe underwater indefinitely and can freely use its breath weapon and other abilities while submerged.
