Welcome : Latest : July 2002 : Memorabilia 2002
Corinthian are proud to announce that they will be attending the Sporting Memorabilia event of the year. Several sporting celebrities have earmarked the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of August in the diaries, including the England 1966 World Cup quartet of Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, Roger Hunt and George Cohen. There will also be a trio of attacking talent in the form of Ian Rush, Steve Bull and Kerry Dixon who are all putting in appearances. As if these celebrity heavyweights weren’t enough, the organisers have even lined up WBU light-welterweight champion Ricky “the Hitman” Hatton for those sports fans looking for that elusive signing. ProStars fans can look forward to three releases at Memorabilia 2002. Defensive stalwart Rio Ferdinand in the England away kit, Thierry Henry in the new O2 sponsored Arsenal away kit and Gabriel Batistuta in the last ever kit he wore for Argentina. Perhaps the greatest pull factor for footy fans will be the “Club and Country Football Memorabilia Exhibition”, the first ever collection of its kind to grace these shores. Classic jerseys worn by true legends from Pele to Ronaldo and Sir Stanley Matthews to Sir Geoff Hurst. So pencil 3rd and 4th of August into your diary and join Corinthian at Memorabilia 2002 at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. Admission fees are: £7 for adults (or £10 to go in both the Sci-fi and sports halls), and £5 for children. There is also an early bird admission for £10 which gives exclusive access from 9am.
