Cause for celebration!
Matt now has a regular weekday show on Galaxy 105, from 10am til 3pm.

May 2005 - update

The fanclub continues to send birthday and Christmas gifts to the end of 2004.
(We have now discontinued this as Matt was getting snowed under with silly stuff!)
A new forum was set up for the MWFC.
Fanclub members continue to meet up in small numbers on a regular basis.

August 2003

Matt covers some shows at Galaxy 102 and on the Galaxy network.
Matt's brmb leaving present from the fanclub is finally sent out, and safely received.

July 2003

Fanclub T-shirts distributed, many thanks to Tina. Badges also supplied.
Nine members of the fanclub meet up at the brmb Party In The Park, complete with MWFC T-shirts and badges....and a "we miss Matt Wilkins" banner, courtesy of Leanne and friends!

June 2003

Matt's evening show finishes, to the great dismay of his listeners.
Tina and Sue investigate the feasibility of fanclub merchandise, including T-shirts and badges.
Some of Matt's fans take him a caramel macchiato and a box of Maltesers during his last week at brmb.



"Good luck" card sent from the fanclub and present bought
27th sees Matt's last show on brmb, signing off with a simple "I'll see you round."

May 2003

A baby rabbit is named Wilko in honour of Matt.
The bunny was later discovered to be female, but she will still be called Wilko!

Matt takes part in the BUPA Feetbeat run at Cannon Hill Park.
He completes the 10k run in a very respectable 1 hour and 4 minutes.
8 members of the fanclub sponsor him and Choc, Carlene, Pru, Maria and Sue go along to watch.

April 2003

Fanclub renamed The Matt Wilkins Fanclub.
Matt sends signed photos to all current members.

March 2003

Matt provides more material for the website and the new look site goes live.

February 2003

Second fanclub meetup, in Starbucks. Leanne, Choc, Maria, Sue and Joanna attend.
Sue and Joanna take Janet's birthday card to brmb for Matt to sign, and meet Matt and Scott.

January 2003

First meetup of the Matt Wilkins Fanclub, in Starbucks, Colmore Row. Sue, Choc, Leanne and Pru attend - and buy Janet's birthday card! Also take Matt a caramel macchiato.

December 2002

Matt supplies a photo from the brmb Christmas party, and a test shot from the new webcam!

October 2002

Matt's 24th birthday. He receives his first card and gift from the fanclub.
Matt provides pictures for the website.

July 2002

Matt provides a photograph for the fans.
