Prairie Region Gliding School 2000 Website

The Regional Gliding Schools are set up by the Air Cadet Leauge of Canada and the DND to train cadet glider pilots in Schweitzer 2-33 A gliders. In the the summer of 2000, 64 other cadets and myself were fortunate enough to have the chance and skilled enough to pull it off, earning our gliding wings in Gimli, MB at the Prairie Region Gliding School. (Gimli is about an 1 hour 10 minutes north of Winnipeg.)

Hey everyone. Thanks to all those who submitted pictures and flight information. E-mail me with your pictures, information or comments.

I was back at Gimli in the summer of 2003 for the instructor work-up and the gliding course. Earned my instructor rating and taught 4 students. Great time, hope to do it again.
