| (11-07-06) VIM/GLILK? announces new partnership Victory in Mattswad/Got LILK? Motorsports has aligned itself with a new partner in 2007 to promote a very worthy cause. Following the lead of 4-time winner Morgan Shepherd, VIM/GLILK? has announced a partnership with the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses to sponsor development driver Mike Hogg in his racing efforts. Hogg could not be reached for comment, but Shepherd has this to say about the recent competition for his Victory in Jesus monopoly. Motorsports is proud to announce its driver line-up for the the 2007 season. Its two primary drivers will be Hideo Fukuyama and the comedienne Kim Crosby. Fukuyama will drive the #81 Big Daddy's BBQ Sauce BMW full-time in 2007, and Crosby will share her "celebrity" #32 Boudreaux's Butt Paste ride with TV stars Fred Savage and John O'Hurley. Paul Newman will crew chief the #32 ride, while the team is in negotiations with Willy T. Ribbs to turn wrenches for Fukuyama's ride. Victory in Mattswad/GLILK? will also field the part-time #50 PEO Pros car in a combination races during the 2007 season. In addition, VIM/G will field a driver development program. It has announced the hirings of Jay Lakins Jr. and Mike Hogg to compete in various Late Model races in 2007 to build the team's future. Lakins is an experienced Late Model racer who will also run a limited Craftsman Truck Series schedule in 2007. Hogg, a native of Scotland, is a diversity driver in the truest sense, and won a driving contest held by Matthew Lewis himself at Atlanta Motor Speedway in October 2006. (10-29-06) NEW NASCAR TEAM FORMED! The most exciting new team to emerge on the prestigious NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Circuit, Victory in Mattswad/Got LILK? Motorsports officially launched their pursuit of the coveted NASCAR NEXTEL Cup trophy today. Victory in Mattswad/Got LILK? is owned by businessmen Matthew Lewis and Larry Izzard LaKworanza, and is set to compete full-time on the NASCAR circuit, and challenge for wins at every venue. The team has signed two primary sponsors to help on their effort. The first is Oklahoma company Big Daddy's BBQ Sauce, a familar and welcome precense in the auto racing community, having successfully sponsored teams such as Donlavey Racing and Larry Hedrick Motorsports. "We have found the perfect partner in Big Daddy's" says Lewis. "They share our vision and have proven to be a reliable sponsor in the past." Look for special Big Daddy's promotions at races across the circuit this season, including novely Big Daddy's monopoly money! The team has also signed building contractor Speedblock as a secondary sponsor for this season. Speedblock is a revolutionary contracting business that builds houses out of concrete, a style VIM/GLILK? hopes to bring to the table next season by building all of their chassis out of concrete. "With this new formula, we have moved beyond the Car of Tomorrow" says Lewis. "When we win the coveted NEXTEL Cup in 2007, it will be all thanks to Speedblock.
