When the weather gets cold outside and snow begins to fall, I get out my skis and head to the slopes.

I have been skiing for seven years now. I began by going to a slope at a local park. The hills were small and made it easy to learn on. The same year I went to Hidden Valley Ski Resort in Donegal, Pa. This is a real ski resort and was a bit more challenging.

Skiing is not a cheap sport as I found out. The lift tickets range around 35-40 Dollars and ski rentals can be anywhere from $10 at some local place, all the way to $30 at the ski resort. I bought my own at a ski swap sale held at a local ski north ski shop.

Nonetheless it is a fun sport which gives you much exercise.
I have a 1985 Ford LTD Crown victoria just like the one above(no picture of mine yet). My LTD is Sandy Beige with the same color vinyl roof. It is in very good condition despite it's 155,000 mile odometer reading. I have retired the car and am currently doing some cosmetic touchups on it. These cars have a problem with front fenders that rot out. I was lucky to acquire 2 rust free front fenders from a 1987 crown victoria that spent it's life in virginia. Once I paint these and install them on my car, it will be looking new again.

I think the crownvictoria's look great. They may not be from the fifties with classic status, but one day they will. These are the last cars to have chrome bumpers, vinyl tops and the chrome hood ornament. No cars made today contain these. It would be a shame to let such a great car go to the junk yard in the sky.
