Link's Awakening

In this game, Link is sailing back from a training mission in a far off land and is ship wrecked from a violent storm. He ends up waking up at a small is land called Koholint Island. He is taken in by a nice man named Tarin, and his kind daughter Marin. A strange owl appears to Link and tells in order to return home he must awaken the Wind Fish by gathering and playing the eight interments of the sirens. But the interments are guarded by monstrous beasts, which are said to be the nightmares of the Wind Fish. After Link collects all of the interments and plays the mysterious song The Ballad of the Wind Fish. He can enter the giant egg atop Mt. Tamaranch, where the Wind Fish sleeps, in which there the final nightmare awaits him.
