Frequently Asked Questions

It's hard to think up some Frequently Asked Questions, because I don't get many. So here's the questions I thought people would ask if they bothered to email me:

1) What Video Capture Card do you use?
I use a WinTV Primio + Teletext PCI. I'm not good with recommendations because everybody has different tastes, so don't ask. If you looking for a card, this cost me about 60 English Pounds, which works out at about $90. I got it from Jungle.com, which ship to England, but I think they might ship to America as well.

2) What editing equipment do you use?
I use many programs fo many different purposes, but a good summary would be - MyFlix 2 to edit the parts of MPEGS I need, MainActor to convert these MPEGS into AVI's/MOV's and QuickTime Player (Registered Version!!!) to edit and put together my AMV's. Don't ask about prices because all this junk came with our PC, so it's what I'm stuck with.

3) Can I put your videos on my site?
No. Sorry, but I spend several hours editing and putting together and compressing these videos, and I don't want them to be nicked off the site as I soon as I upload them. You may link to MY SITE ONLY, not the actual videos on my XOOM account.

4) Can I affiliate with you?
Sure, why not? It's good advertising for me and you and we both therefore get something out of it. Your site has to be an AMV or General Music Video site though, if you are just a link site or a site with a completely different subject you can only link to me...people come to this site to see Animated Music Videos and they don't wanna be directed off to some other crappy site.

5) Can I submit design ideas for your site?
No, not yet. I like the site how it is for the moment. If the time comes when I wanna have a complete re-vamp of the whole site, I will put a pole on the current site for different types of improvements.
