Family, is a group consisting of parents and children in which they live in a particular place, either together or away. It usually may contain a mother, a father, a brother, and a sister. Other families have their grand parents, uncles, aunts, cousins and relatives nearby, which forms the so-called Extended Family. Families differ in terms of economic, cultural, social, and many other facets, but what every family has in common is that the people who call it a family are making clear that those people are important in some way to the person calling them his family. Though most families consist of a father, a mother, and a child, in some cases, we consider our pets as our family, the same goes with our friends. Not only humans have families but also animals. To make everything simple, everyone is your family. Have you heard of the quote: "A family that prays together, stays together"?, well, it actually means that praying will create a stronger bond between you and your family's relationship, which will make it not fall apart. Families are who you love. Our families all �look� different and it's always been so. A family caregiving unit might consist of a couple; a mother, father and children; a single parent and child; grandparent and grandchildren; a sibling group; a circle of friends; or however that family defines itself. Families are the foundation of society. It's where we come into the world, are nurtured and given the tools to go out into the world, capable and healthy�or we aren't. While families have the greatest potential for raising healthy individuals, they can also wound their members in places that will never heal. When families break down and fail to provide the healthy nurturing we need, the effects impact not only our own lives, but also our communities.
