1. UnZip financial.zip
2. In the folder Program Files\StoryServer 4\Engines\R4.0\adm\projects, create a subfolder called "financial" and using WinZip extract the contents of the zip file into it.
3. Move the financial.exe file now located in your new directory to the Inetpub\wwwroot directory (If using MS IIS) and double-click to extract these images into your web server's document root. "components" and "images" sub-directories will be created beneath the wwwroot directory/folder.
4. From the Start menu, run the "StoryServer Platform Configuration Program" and select: "Configure an existing Content Management (CM) System", select your server and select: "Install or Remove a Project Package", then "Install a Project Package". Next check the "Financial" box (if not already checked) and select which CA Servers to update.
5. Next it will ask for the "parent id". You need to get the parent ID of the project in question. So, in Production Center, if you highlight the "Demo" project and choose "Details", you can go to the "Misc" tab and you'll see the management ID. It'll likely be /pr/d. At this point the project will be set up and progress meters will appear on your screen. When complete check the "Exit Setup" button, click Next and this step is complete.
6. Once it is installed, there is a file you will see called: financial_keywords.bat (in the "financial folder created above). Take a look at that .bat file and edit it appropriately to match your system/servername. When you run that .bat file, it will put the keywords in place on your system for the financial demo.
7. Take a look at the workflow associated with the "Content" project under Financial. You might want to put a workflow step in and/or leave workflow blank until you are done with (8). Also, as it relates to (8), go to the Project Manager window and right click on the "Content" folder and select "Details". From the "General" tab check "Automatically Launch Content As Soon as Workflow Completes".
8. Once that's done, you'll have to fix the keywords that are assigned to each of the articles and ads within the financial demo. To fix, you'll need to go to the content entry forms for the demo and manually change the keywords. (This really could be done via the database (ISQL utility), but it's actually faster to do it by hand.)
>From your browser, go to http://<server.domainname>:80>/Interfaces (uppercase "I"), which will bring up the "JD Interfaces Index" page. Click on first, "Articles" and afterwards "Ads". This will bring up the list of Articles, then Ads, so you can edit the keywords. Click on "Edit" preceeding each article that has a title pertaining to Retirement type Articles/Ads. Scroll to the bottom of the content to the "category_keyword:" heading and select "Financial:Retirement" from the pulldown list. Select "Save" and due to the automatic launch (as a result of step #7 above) the new keywords will be applied and the page launched. You need to do this so that you have "Retirement" associated with retirement articles and not "High Tech Stocks" for retirement stories.
9. To run the demo, point your browser to http://<servername.domainname>:80/financial
