Hey Hey, Well I have good news and I have bad news. Since I like to end things on an up note I'll start with the bad. Two days ago I woke up feeling pretty yucky, sore throat, fever, chills, achy, etc. But, I figured it was nothing to I trained like normal. Well, yesterday I woke up and looked at my throat and it was very swollen and colorful. The fever hadn't let up any and I felt worse. In the back of my mind I could imagine most of you (My dad and the females anyway) nagging me to get it looked at, so I did. They decided to keep me here in the infirmary. They have me taking about a million and a half different kind of pills. They also have me on an IV. I now owe $152 and 200 pushups for taking it out. I was told if I take it out again the fine will be higher and I'll get remarks on my record. I'm going to leave it in. The food here is good, in the infirm. anyways. In the chow hall it is nasty as can be. The lunch ladies are gross. Theyre overweight, toothless, they smell, greasy... It can't be sanitary. But here it is like real food. Everything has been going pretty good in the new company. The training is a little harder but the Drill Sergeant is better and the guys haven't exiled me. I', actually getting along pretty good. I got to call the "Hole in the Bottom of the Sea" cadence again, as well as "They say that in the Army" and "Tiny Bubbles". I don't mind missing this training, its stuff we've already done. And, its nice to get away from the Drill Sergeants. Lindstrom is here as well. Looks like he pretty much has the same thing I do. Weve been talking a little bit. Hes a really cool guy. For those of you who went to/ still go to McQueen he is the Wooster guy who is dating Nicole. Hi Nicole!Hol |
