Hello Everybody,

     Well, I've got some good news and some bad news, but more about that later.  I got your letter and I thank you so much for writing.  That letter really made my day, heck, my week.

     Well, the good news is that my wrist has stopped acting up, and I don't feel sick.  I can breathe pretty easy now.  The bad news is I missed some Rifle Training and theyre moving me into a new Company, Echo Co.  Echo is 3 weeks behind where Alpha Co. was so I won'y be home till 3 weeks later.  Around the 22nd or 23rd is my best guess as to my new graduation date.

     The doctors here moved me into PTRP (Physical Traning and Rehabilitation Platoon) but I didn't feel like I belonged there and got retested and was sent back to Alpha Co.  Then after being jerked around for a while I was moved to Echo.  It means I have to completely redo the last 3 weeks, Gas Chamber, Unarmed Combat, Rifle Training, all of it.  But, aside from not seeing you guys sooner, its a good thing.  The new Drill Sergeant is a LOT cooler and I lost the "Golden Boy" title.  I also know a (continued on next page)
