First things first : why a FAQ?

That's a damn good question :D Well, even if we assume most of you know about BitTorrent, we still need to clarify some things about the way it works around here... Plus, in case, you don't know anything about BitTorrent this FAQ might help you getting started.

Who are you? What the hell are you doing here?

Well, we happen to be fans of Dark Angel, a tv show outrageously canceled by Fox at the end of its second season, and we also happen to like sharing with others what we have :-)
You may have understood by now that we are sharing Dark Angel episodes ( if not, I guess you should go back to 1st grade and start all over again...)

Are you only seeding DA i.e Dark Angel episodes?

As a matter of fact, no! We also seed regularly Honk Kong II movies basically featuring comedy, stunts and, man, a lot of fights! Occasionally, we also release other tv shows episodes such as Angel or Smallville or other non- HKII movies...

When are those episodes and movies released? Have you planned it all?

Actually the Dark Angel episodes are being seeded every TUESDAY preferably around 21 PM GMT.
HK II movies are released every 48 hours which makes a pretty intensive release rate (destined to keep you awake... )
The other unplanned releases are... well, unplanned!

And- oh! By the way- what does "seeding" mean?

Seeding means that you leave your BitTorrent window open for leechers ( downloaders) after your download is complete. We ask you to leave your window open as long as it took you to get the file so that others can download : that's the way the BitTorrent community works... As the name suggests it, we do not act like those Kazaa or E-mule guys and run away once our download is done ; everyone is allowed to receive and has to give :D

But how does it all work in the end?

Very simply, so simply that I am not gonna tell you, just go to www.btfaq.com and you'll have answers to anything you wondered about BitTorrent...

So do I have to signup to download? And can I upload torrents?

It is a private tracker which means that you can log in and add a comment to a torrent but you can't upload torrents...

How can I contact you, ask things or comment on what you do?

Just get a irc client and connect to irc.modemnet.net at the #eyes-only channel and voila! here we are...

So... Is this FAQ finally over?

Yeah it is, just a few more things though :

-You can donate to our cause to allow us to have a better server and upload more files with a more important bandwidth...

-Please really keep your window open after downloading : sorry to be so insistent but we have noticed several times on our previous trackers that some people close their windows just after their download is over...
