| Bulbous Buttercup is a common flower of old fields, roadsides, and lawns throughout the Midwest. Its tender yellow flowers (note the "cup" shape of its "buttery" yellow flowers) tend to produce much pollen but little nectar, so it attracts mostly pollen-eating beetles, flies and bees. |
