Question five Scripture verse(s)
Matthew 4:23-25
    23) Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24) News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them. 25) Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.

Matthew 8:1-4

1) When he came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. 2) A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." 3) Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately he was cured of his leprosy. 4) Then Jesus said to him, "See that you don't tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

Matthew 9:18-33

18) While he was saying this, a ruler came and knelt before him and said, "My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live." 19) Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples.
      20) Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. 21) She said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed." 22) Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment.
     23) When Jesus entered the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd, 24) he said, "Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep." But they laughed at him. 25) After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. 26) News of this spread through all that region.
     27) As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!" 28) When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" "Yes, Lord," they replied. 29) Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith will it be done to you"; 30) and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, "See that no one knows about this." 31) But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.
     32) While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus. 33) And
when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel."

Matthew 14:22-33

22) Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23) After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone, 24) but the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
     25) During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26) When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear. 27) But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." 28) "Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water." 29) "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30) But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" 31) Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?" 32) And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33) Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God."

Mark 4:35-41

35) That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, "Let us go over to the other side." 36) Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37) A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38) Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?" 39) He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the winddied down and it was completely calm. 40) He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" 41) They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!"

John 2:1-12

1) On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, 2) and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3) When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine." 4) "Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied. "My time has not yet come." 5) His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." 6) Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. 7) Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim. 8) Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so, 9) and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10) and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now."           11) This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed at Cana in Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him. 12) After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. There they stayed for a few days.

John 11:38-44

    38) Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39) "Take away the stone," he said. "But, Lord," said Martha, the sister of the dead man, "by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days." 40) Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?" 41) So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, "Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42) I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me." 43) When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" 44) The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go."
