*Introduction

   This activity is in a second stage and the web design component has been
   integrated. The community has been very supportive in donating computers and
   these machines have been upgraded and provided to a variety of needy
   community based organizations. Participants not only learn software
   applications, but also the practical components of technical computer
   maintenance and upgrading.

   The project is supervised by Damien Gooley, and is also anticipated to
   extend into a further stage.

* Links

   u-
     'Informal Ideas Site (Wiki)' http://macwcwagga.homedns.org/ideas/oddmuse-wiki.pl
     This is a site which was originally intended to be a forum for ideas about
      how the PC-Recycle & Web-Design Project could be improved and
      how Internet publishing could be used effectively as part of the
      Web-Design element.
      This set of pages is being migrated to the new server. For example
      the main page is now also located at the location below:
    - link:///refurb/old-wiki.html This is the same as the link mentioned above
      but it has been moved to the new site and put in a slightly different
      format.
    - 'Participant Web-Pages and Journals'
      http://macwcwagga.homedns.org:8080/wftdwiki/FrontPage
      As part of the web-design element of this community work project
      participants are guided in the creation of elementary web-pages.
      This site also contains some journals of the activities of participants
      for the project.
    - 'Participant Sites' http://macwcwagga.homedns.org/pcrecycle/index.html
      A page with links to participants personal websites
    - Documentation about the 'system' which was used to create these
      pages (which you can use to update and edit the pages)
      is available in the link:///refurb/docs/ directory

    All links which are located on the server http://macwcwagga.homedns.org
    are not particularly reliable and may not be available. This is because this
    server resides behind a firewall computer which appears to periodically
    'go down' or be deliberately turned off. Also, the server is accessed
    through a relatively slow ADSL connection.

* Participant Web Sites

  http://paulswrestlingsite.bravehost.com
    This is a site devoted to wrestling. A few animated gifs and some
    information.

  http://waggawagga.net.tc/
     A quit professional looking site by one of the particants in the
     refurbishment project (Robert Myers)

  more to come ...

* Technical Notes

  The HTML for this template will be improved at some stage.

  This site is still being transfered from the 'old server'
  http://macwcwagga.homedns.org .For example the contents of the
  various 'Wikis' http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?WhyWikiWorks need to be
  moved over to the 'new server' http://wagga-cwc.org.au
