1. INTRODUCTION (§) This file tries to discover some resources on the Internet for learning Catalan. From my investigations so far, the amount of material available is not great. A particular emphasis is placed on bilingual dictionaries and audio files. 2. THE GENERALITAT DE CATALUNYA SITE (§) This section investigates the resources available at the 'gencat' site and specifically the resources at the 'intercat' sub-site of this site. These resources are very considerable which is the reason why I have dedicated a whole section to this site. The site contains (in a somewhat obscure form) bilingual wordlist for catalan to english, french, portuguese, and german and also contains many sound files of catalan spoken.
